Brake pedal is dropping to the floor while the engine is on. This has not happened before. I'm afraid the brake will fail at any moment while on the road.
Brake failure going down a hill, brake pedal went to the floor. Pumped the brakes however it did not help. No warning about a brake problem before it happened. Truck rolled to a stop at the bottom of the hill on flat terrain. I was fortunate no other vehicles or pedistrains were on the hill at this time. Vehicle is at Ford dealer trying to determine cause of brake failure. Date of failure 7/28/2020.
Complete, sudden, unexpected brake failure. Brake pedal went straight to the floor with no warning. So dangerous. This happened on the interstate at 70 mph towing my travel trailer with my family in the car.
Total brake failure.
Truck had 36335 miles on it and we had complete brake failure. Just arrived in panama city fla and coming out of grocery store lost all brakes while in motion on city street.
My 2016 Ford f150 had total brake failure with out warning, this almost resulted in a major vehicle acident. The occured on a busy street with out warning the truck lost all braking and ability to stop.
Driving on a bypass highway, the brakes failed, and I almost rear ended someone. Light came on, added fluid, then again they failed. I have the vehicle at the Ford dealership now. I have just over 40k miles on the truck, this repair better be covered by Ford.
100% brake failure at highway speed. Ford recalled previous model years for the same issue but failed to inform owners of later years that had the same parts installed. My truck was serviced at the Ford dealer I bought it from 100 miles before failure. Ford should be urged to recall and reimburse.
Complete brake failure with no warnings.

Being the driver of a 2016 F-150 crew cab 4x4 with 3. 5 eco boost motor. I have been now been involved in two brake failure related collisions. One on June 20, 2017 and the other this year on July 3rd. The first brake related collision was on June 20th, 2017. I was stopped at a traffic light behind some other cars waiting on light to change. Next thing I know I feel a slight bump hitting the car in front of me so I go to hit the brake again and inadvertently hit the accelerator ending up pushing the car in front of me into the car in front of it. Which caused a 3 vehicle accident that day. Now this July 3rd I was involved in a much serious accident due to brake failure. I was driving in far left lane approaching a traffic light that was red and cars in front of me stopped ahead. I went to hit my brakes to stop and the truck kept on get going in a forward motion without any indication the brakes were working. I tried to direct truck to the left side median to avoid a collision and while in forward motion I made impact with the car in middle pushing it into the first car up front that was involved in my second accident. My truck's middle and right front made contact with car in front of me hard enough to puncture gas tank on the left side of that car with my front mounted trailer hitch and push it into the 1st car's rear end. My drivers side steering wheel air bag deployed hitting me in the stomach area and seat belt faster on drivers side bruised my right hip, and neck ended up with some muscle strain as well. The driver of the most forward car went to the hospital with unknown injuries while I was tending to the local authorities investigation and my truck. The driver in middle car, the car I struck I know that their car was totaled with severe damage to both front and rear damage. Weather clear and roads dry. There was no trace of skid marks on the road.
On may 4th my brakes totally failed. Luckily I discovered this when I got into my truck to start it up from work. My brake pedal went all the way to the floor. I popped the hood and discovered the brake fluid reservoir empty. I am lucky that I was not driving when I discovered this. My truck has been towed to the local Ford dealership and I do not have any documentation at this time. The vehicle was parked.

My three-month-old 2016 Ford f150, has 10,000 miles on it. I bought it brand new, with 9 miles on the odometer. Up until Friday, 11-18-16, it had been a pretty good vehicle. On the aforementioned date, when approaching a stoplight, I applied the brakes. Much to my dismay, the pedal went to the floor & the truck did not slow down. Complete brake failure. I took the vehicle to the dealership for diagnosis & repair. They still have it & I¿m in a loaner car. I also now see that there are other reports of the same thing happening to other 2015/2016 Ford f150 trucks. I would think this type of a failure would be deemed catastophic, as one could imagine what could happen when driving a vehicle at any speed, and no way to stop it.
Backing up into a parking spot. Hit the brakes and the brakes failed. Did not stop the truck. Backed into a pole which stopped the truck. Was in a parking lot. Backing into a marked spot on the lot. Fortunately there was a pole rather than a car or person there. The pole stopped the vehicle. Told my wife about it. She didn't believe me of course - I googled brake failure and then 4 days later I saw the report on the news.

Total brake failure at 3,100 miles. Vehicle would not stop. Had to pump brakes as fast as possible to try to get truck to stop. Brake pedal wen to the floor with no response. When stopped, had to put truck in neutral to keep it from moving.
Complete brake failure. Pedal goes to the floor.
Complete brake failure. Pedal goes to the floor.
The contact owns a 2016 Ford F-150. The contacts stated that the vehicle was involved in a front end collision because the brakes failed when the brake pedal was depressed. The failure occurred without warning. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. There were two injuries that required medical attention. The occupants of the other vehicle experienced some neck discomfort. A police report was not filed. My brakes failed, could barely stop truck at street intersection. . Was able to make it to dealership. Brakes were non responsive and then back to semi responsive.
6,500 miles on new vehicle and brakes completely failed, no accident to report.
Brakes completely fail, when I pushed the brake pedal down. It went straight to the floor with no resistance. This has happened 4 times. Sometimes pumping the brakes helps. The emergency brake was used to stop the vehicle 2 times. Once a sharp swerve off the road while pumping to stop. The last time I coasted to a stop. There seems to be no matter of speed, type of stop or incline in common. Except the vehicle is in motion and the brakes won't work. I'm waiting for a tow truck right now.
While slowing to pull into my companies driveway off of a very busy highway my brakes failed. As I begin to apply the brake pedal it had little to no resistance and the pedal went all the way to the floor with almost zero stopping power (on dry surface). I knew I would definitely crash if I tried to pull into the drive at the rate I was traveling, so I turned up the shoulder against oncoming traffic to regain control. Being very confused because my truck is still brand new I went down many back roads testing my brakes to thankfully having no other failures. One week later it happened to my fiancé while she was coming to a stop sign and was very blessed there was no oncoming traffic as the vehicle did not stop before entering the intersection. A couple of days later it happened to her again but she had began to apply the brakes at a much greater distance away and the vehicle was able to come to a complete stop before the intersection. The best way I can describe it is, that it feels as if the front brakes are disengaged and there is some stopping power from the rear with no loss of traction. I notified my dealership and was told they were not able to duplicate the issue. I just pray there is a solution to this issue or that it never happens again before me or my family get hurt.
