Ford F-150 owners have reported 11 problems related to fuel delivery (under the gasoline fuel system category). The most recently reported issues are listed below. Also please check out the statistics and reliability analysis of Ford F-150 based on all problems reported for the F-150.
The vehicle has 2 fuel tanks. While driving, gasoline flows from one tank to the second tank, causing the second tank to overfill. When opening the lid to the second tank, pressure caused by excessive amount of gasoline causes gasoline to spew from the spout onto operator and onto the ground.

I purchased a 2006 F-150 on July 6, 2006 with 9,177 miles on it. On July 10, 2006 I allowed my 24-year-old son to take the truck 700 feet to his mobile home to take a washer and dryer from my home to his. He was within 3 feet of the porch of the mobile home with the truck in four wheel drive in reverse when the gas pedal stuck and knocked his mobile home about 3 feet off the foundation. He had just let off the brake a little to ease back. The truck and mobile home seem to be totaled. My husband and I went to the dealership on 7/12/2006 and he said he was not going to do a d*** thing about it and threatened to call the police. I told him the manual said to go to the dealership. Asked if I should call Ford motor company. He stated that he did not make the vehicle and he didn't know what to tell me. We paid cash for the vehicle and had it towed to a secure lot until further investigation. I asked my insurance company to investigate. We purchased the premiumcare extended service plan. If nothing else, it should have fell under the implied warranty.

1) my truck will still out when coasting to red lights or when idling. 2) when the truck stalls, I loose power steering and power breaks, yesterday it died out right on top of some railroad tracks and was giving me trouble trying to restart. It would say "low oil pressure" on start up, however that's because the rpm's weren't high enough to create enough oil pressure. It will then go into engine failsafe mode. 3) the Ford dealership says I need a new throttle body and to reflash the pcm. However I have not been able to make the repairs yet because I can not afford them.

Fuel line leak caused gasoline to spill onto the pavement; a definite safety hazard. Defect was covered by a safety recall, but I had previously taken vehicle in for inspection and given a clean bill of health. How can a part covered under a recall fail after I took it in? Ford is unwilling to cover any expenses except the repair costs, while I incurred addtional costs. The windshield washer quit working. Ford is unwilling to cover the cost of repairs.
Fuel line is rubbning against upper radiator hose and may cause a leakages which could lead to a possible engine compartment fire. Dealer / manufacturer were not notified at this time.
Fuel lines are spraying gas all over the exhaust system. Consumer is afraid it could cause a fire. Consumer will contact manufacturer to see if recall 00v231000/ manufacturer's recall 00s22 affects the vehicle.
Going 35mph a frontal collision occurred where on impact a fire came from both sides of the hood, causing total damage to the vehicle. Afterwards, saw fuel coming out of one of its fuel lines.
Same problem as 1993 recall. Nhtsa campaign id #01|008000.
