Brake Foundation Components problems of the 1999 Ford F-250

Five problems related to brake foundation components have been reported for the 1999 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Brake Foundation Components problem

Failure Date: 07/01/2001

When applying brakes, the vehicle jumps all around, then vehicle will eventually stop, took vehicle to dealer and they replaced the rotors and brakes, problem reoccurrerd thirteen months later. The dealer replaced the brake pad and rotors, but they failed again.

2 Brake Foundation Components problem

Failure Date: 05/11/1999

While driving at 35/40 mph and brakes are applied, they don't hold and the vehicle vibrates. Please provide more details. Mr.

3 Brake Foundation Components problem

Failure Date: 12/27/1998

While driving at any speed and when applying the brakes the vehicle will pull to the left. Consumer has to hold the steering wheel real tight in order to control the vehicle. Took vehicle in for service, and the dealer took the vehicle out for a test drive and couldn't determine the problem.

4 Brake Foundation Components problem

During inclement weather brake failed when applied. Consumeer tried to avoid hitting vehicle in front and hit a pole. There was no deployment of driver and passenger side airbages and the seat belt did not restrain driver and kill swith failed. Yh.

5 Brake Foundation Components problem

Recall work on the brakes and the cruise control system can not be performed due to lack of parts.
