The contact owns a 2007 Ford F-250 super duty. While driving at any speed, the vehicle shook violently and caused the door to open. It became difficult to steer and the entire vehicle oscillated. In addition, the abs warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The failures began weeks after the vehicle was purchased in 2007. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 400.
I own a 2007 Ford F-250 sd pick-up with a crew cab. Since day one I complained to the dealer(s) regarding severe steering oscillation when encountering bumpy or irregular road surfaces at highway speeds, especially on curves. I was advised that the tire pressure must be maintained at the factory recommendation of 70#s. Although the pressures are checked and maintained regularly, the severe oscillation continues and I was told that it is normal for this to happen if the truck does not have a full load or if it is not towing a trailer. The dealer(s) have stated that the factory does not have a recall, but did address the matter in a "tech bulletin" which only addressed the tire pressure as a resolution. With all the other similar complaints, the issue must be more than tire pressure.
