1 Electrical Infotainment problem of the 2023 Ford F-250

Failure Date: 03/08/2023

The contact owns a 2023 Ford F-250. The contact stated when he lowered the driver's side window he was only able to partially close the window. The contact stated that the passenger front window was also having the same failure. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. Additionally, the contact stated that the infotainment system was defaulting to a factory setting and was deactivating the forward collision and several other safety features. The contact stated that both failures were intermittent. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where the failures were unable to be duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact had researched online and related the window failure to NHTSA campaign number: 23v507000 (structure), however his VIN was not part of the VIN selection. The manufacturer was informed of the failures and referred the contact to the NHTSA safety hot line. The failure mileage was approximately 1,000.
