Component: air conditioning / heater subject: recurrent hvac system failure - passenger-side temperature control malfunction I am reporting a recurring failutre of the vehicle's hvac system affecting the passenger-side temperature control. Specifically the passenger-side air vents intermittently and repeatedly blowing hot air while the driver-side continue to operate normally with cooled air. This condition results in inconsistent cabin temperature control andrenders the air conditioning system ineffective for occupants on the passenger side. Timeline of failures and repairs: July 2023: initial occurrence of passenger side hot air condition. Vehicle was taken to authorized Ford dealership (mcree Ford). Repairs were performed; however the specific root cause either identified or not permanently corrected as another recurrence happened August 2025: took it back to mcree Ford due to an identical issue reoccurred where the passenger side was blowing hot air. They attempted to repair with the same technician and was again only a temporary resolution as the issue again occurred March 2026: passenger side blowing hot air for the third time. Took it to a different authorized Ford dealership (cook Ford) where again, it was identified as a blend door actuator issue. Safety concern: while the issue may appear to be a comfort concern, it presents a potential safety risk in high temperature environments such as texas. (heat related stress or illness for passengers) multiple authorized dealership seem to be unable to resolve the issue. Currently vehicle is with cook Ford and was advised that additional funding would be needed for a permanent fix. I've already been financially burdened with taking the vehicle twice to mcree Ford and now a third time to cook Ford for the same issue, and being told upfront that the failure may again happen. I request an investigation into this matter and hvac issue. Thank you.

Back window has dropped 1/4 to 1/2 inch to the right. And is not in alignment. Safety concern that window could fall out or pop out during accident. No reason for window to just drop. Believe not installed correctly or sealants have failed cause of defect and window to drop and separate molding down to become detached right side. See pictures attached.

Vehicle: 2020 Ford f?250 super duty VIN: [xxx] issue: front / chmsl camera intermittent or inoperative Ford csp 20b39 applies csp cannot be completed due to gateway module failure Ford has not responded despite multiple written requests I have personally sent emails to them sent April 6 sent April 9 sent April 16 4/29 - called and asked for coordination. Received no acknowledgment request for coordination with dealer to complete recall 20b39 [xxx] [xxx] > thu, Apr 16, 11:59?am (13 days ago) to crcfmc, [xxx] , [xxx] , [xxx] dear Ford customer relationship center, I'm writing to follow up again on my previous emails of April 6 and April 9 regarding my 2020 Ford F-250 super duty (VIN: [xxx] ). I have not received any response or confirmation of receipt. I want to correct my earlier characterization — after further research, I understand that 20b39 is a customer satisfaction program, not a safety recall. That said, the core issue and my position remain the same, and I want to lay out where things stand clearly. The situation: - my vehicle is covered under csp 20b39 (front view and chmsl camera — pcb conductivity issue causing intermittent camera operation) - the program is in effect through November 30, 2030 or 150,000 miles, and the repair is to be performed at no charge to the vehicle owner - my servicing dealer, santa margarita Ford, attempted to complete the csp work but could not because the vehicle's gateway module is not communicating properly - the dealer has advised that the gateway module must be replaced before the camera work under xxx can be completed my position: Ford issued csp xxx and committed to completing this repair at no charge. If the gateway module must be functional in order for Ford's own program to be executed, then resolving the gateway module issue is Ford's prerequisite to meet — not an out-of-pocket cost to push to the customer. I'm not asking for anything beyond information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
Put the vehicle in park, exited the vehicle, vehicle rolled away after walking away from the vehicle.
The backup camera has a very elongated view so that what is seen on the screen is extremely stretched out and is almost unusable. I have owned many of these vehicles over the years and the cameras provided a good enough view that you could use it for backing up, as it should be. The current camera makes things behind you look very far away and things next to you look like you're going to hit them when you're actually several feet away (4'-6').

I was driving down the fm 112 in lexington TX. The rear glass exploded. The center glass was not damaged just the glass on both sides.
I was driving on I-77 wv turnpike when suddenly my moon roof shattered. No other vehicles were around and no overpasses in sight. When I pulled over, the glass was raised as if the blowout came from inside the vehicle. It sounded like a gunshot went off inside my truck. Vehicle has been repaired. Replacement glass was $1,800. 00.
The rear view backup camera will get scrambled or become blurry from time to time . It is happening more frequently causing the inability to know what is behind you when backing up.

I was driving down hwy 79 in south dakota. It was 3:00 pm on Saturday Jan. 31st. Out of know where, with not a single vehicle within eyesight, my sunroof exploded. It sounded like a gun shot went off right above my head, and there was glass flying everywhere. This 100% was not due to another vehicle throwing an object up in the air. There was not another vehicle anywhere. After researching this on the internet, it seems this is a reoccurring issue with these Fords that Ford is not taking accountability for. I called the local dealer and was told it would not be covered under warrantee.

Both the driver and passenger mirrors will not fully adjust. The mirrors need a different adjustment for standard driving and when towing a travel trailer. Neither mirror will properly adjust for towing and non towing applications. The lack of proper mirror adjustment causes a safety issue as the driver cannot see things in their full scope due to the mirror misalignment. I have almost had two accidents due to the mirrors not being able to be properly adjusted. Ford is aware of this issue on 2017 to 2023 f150, f250 and f350 trucks with the tow mirrors. Ford has issued a special service message#51829. Ford has a cleaning procedure they wish to be done as part of the diagnostics but Ford and the Ford dealer will not release this information. Ford is attempting to block warranty claims related to this issue. I believe they are doing this so they will not have to issue yet another recall! I spoke with a Ford dealer this morning and they stated that they had no knowledge of the ssm51829 or the mirror cleaning procedure. Even though the truck is under the Ford warranty, they would require a $250. 00 dollar fee just to inspect the problem.
My backup camera went black. There is a recall on this product 25v572 or Ford 25s89. My VIN number is not on the list. How do I get my VIN number on this list since the problem is identical to the recall prolem?.

What happened: my 2024 Ford F-250 developed a coolant leak. The coolant lines run along the frame, and when I brought it to the dealership, they said the bent lines and leak were caused by “road debris” and refused warranty coverage. They claimed mud on the undercarriage meant I was off-roading. I only drive on normal gravel roads, and the truck had been parked for around three weeks before the leak appeared after a short drive around town. I did not hit anything. The placement of the coolant lines may make them vulnerable to minor debris in normal driving conditions. Dealer experience: I also experienced dismissive treatment by the service advisor. When I arrived and said my pickup was leaking antifreeze, the advisor said, “are you sure it’s not water?” the tone felt dismissive and made me feel like I wasn’t being taken seriously. Safety concern: a coolant line damaged under normal driving conditions could lead to overheating and engine failure without warning. If these lines are routed in a location easily struck by road debris, this could be a design vulnerability. Outcome: I left the dealer due to lack of confidence in their diagnosis and had the repair done elsewhere. The other shop documented the bent line and leak. I want this recorded in case other owners report similar issues.
The middle sliding glass window just fell off the track while diving. Nothing impacted it. It looks like the track is visually coming disconnected.

Other because it has to do with the stereo system. The bo unleashed system. When starting the truck a loud deafening high pitched squeal is produced. My ears ring for 1 hour after this happens. Audio system will not operate at that point until the truck is turned off and restarted.

Noted strange "thumping" sound in truck. Took to certified local mechanic who has worked on our vehicles since 2016. This truck has just over 117,000 miles, I am the original owner (ordered while stationed in afghanistan) and there has never been an accident, there has been no reason for removal of the body from the frame unless the Ford dealership who repaired the missing wire harness when the truck was less than 90 days old had to remove the truck bed. Inspection of vehicle noted the bolts holding the body to the frame were missing. Vehicle is currently being repaired. The risk is the body could have come off the frame and potentially caused bodily or property damage. I contacted Ford but have not received any feedback other than the call center laughing at me for the situation. There were no warning lights on the dash nor codes given to my scanning tool by the vehicle. Mechanic stated this is the third f-series of this generation they have seen this year with the exact same problem. Truck cannot be moved due to safety concerns, locked out/tagged out of service. Repairs will cost approximately $2,500 including time and materials.

Leaving him with grandbaby and when we stopped I went to get her out of her car seat but the passenger side rear would not unlock. What would happen if the car was on fire and the door lock would not work properly. The driver said will rarely work properly with the physical key itself and now the auto locks don't work. Cannot believe this is not required to be repaired as it really jeopardizes the safety of infants in car seats. Such a easy fix for this type of possible safety issue. I have 3 Ford trucks and 1 Ford explorer but very concerned the newest is a accident waiting to happen with one of my grandkids and these inoperative locks.
2020 f250 experienced the death wobble while traveling on freeway at 70 mph after running over bumps .
Rear view camera does not always display, either black screen with distorted view lines or complete blue screen. Vehicle is not on current camera recall list.
What: 2008 backup camera failure just like the 1. 46 million in newer models. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? see details for current recall, copy/paste. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? no, but am happy to let them. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? no. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? no, camera simply stopped working around Aug-25. I want you to make them include older year models in this recall. I purchased this vehicle from vic bailey Ford spartanburg SC, financed for 72 months to pay off Jan-1-26. Ford can sell it, and get financed, when still in the process of paying off, this truck should get the same considerations as newer ones when there is identical issues.

This recall is not being fixed in a timely manner. Manufacturer recall number 24s66 NHTSA recall number 24v806.
Hi. I took my 2021 f250 6,7 to the Ford dealership as it was having trouble starting, and just wasn’t running great. They changed the batteries, and told me it was a nox sensor. So I went and got my truck to fix the sensors myself; because they wanted to charge me close to 3 grand. The next day I got up, lo and behold it wouldn’t crank. I had to have it towed back to the dealership. I tested codes before I had it towed, and took a video of it not cranking. The following codes showed. P2291 pcm - injector ctrl press too low - engine cranking p2209 pcm - nox sens heater sense circ range/perf bank 1 sens 1 u029d pcm - lost comm with nox sensor a p2535 pcm - ignition switch on/start pos circ high u300a bcm - ignition switch it’s been in the shop a week , they called Friday saying it was starting, and there was nothing wrong with it. So I replied with all the codes, and told them there was definitely something going on. So they checked it again Monday and it wouldn’t start. Now today (Aug 5 tues. ) they say it may have a vacuum leak. Although non of the codes point to vacuum leak. I have no idea what to do now.
My Ford brake malfunction when I was applied the brake while towing a uhaul trailer. It locked up and warning light showed up on the dashboard. The trailer got away from my truck, hit the rear of my truck and went on the other side of road and hit an oncoming car.
While driving on the interstate, my truck began to lose power and decelerate. A fuel pump and engine warning light appeared. I began to lose power steering while decelerating. When I finally stopped and the truck turned off, I tried restarting which resulted in a cranking noise and was not successful in starting. I had to contact a towing company for assistance and my truck has been undriveable since this date (7/6).
Back up camera doesn’t work I have the same issues stated in the recall of many other trucks the same as mine but my VIN is not included in the recall.
Rear view camera went blank and displayed "request service" also when it did work, display was blurred.

My rear window blew out well it was parked and my baby was in the back in her car seat glass was all over her in her hair and got cuts on her legs.
High pressure fuel pump failure: on [xxx] while driving on the highway our 2020 f250 super duty VIN # [xxx] experienced a complete and sudden loss of power in the fast lane, creating an extremely dangerous situation. Our safety and the safety of others were at risk due to us merging across 4 lanes in heavy traffic with no power steering and no motor function, parking in a very narrow shoulder area and requiring a tow from the highway. After towing and a diagnostic evaluation, it was determined that the high-pressure fuel pump (hpfp) failed, a known safety concern with a recall issued our truck being built in kentucky on August 2, 2020 the cost of repairs are around $15,000. This vehicle is housed at a local diesel mechanic, and is available for inspection upon request, and has not been inspected by anyone currently. When will this recall be remedied? information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
Back up camera not working and showing a blank screen. Says to contact dealership.
I purchased my new 2024 Ford f250 on [xxx] with less than 30 miles on the odometer. It includes a 10-speed automatic transmission. I have noticed erratic up shifting and down shifting of the transmission. The problem started at approximately 700 miles on the vehicle. Additionally I have noticed that after initial starting the vehicle, when placed into drive or reverse, the transmission appears to slam into gear as noticed by a large jerk and loud sound. The vehicle continues to sound like there is a mismatch between the engine revving up and transmission lagging behind for some time, or as if the transmission is slipping gears. The new vehicle was taken into the dealership on 6/9/2025 at 7:00am and work was reportedly completed and vehicle ready for pickup on [xxx]. I was informed that the service technician performed a break-in procedure and that everything was okay. Within 30 minutes of picking up the vehicle the same problem started reoccurring. I called my service advisor (michael garcia) the follow day, [xxx] to report the same issue. I spoke with the service agent and was not able to get a loaner vehicle until 6/28/2025. At this point the vehicle has less that 3,000 miles on it. I dropped off the vehicle at 7:00 am on the 24th for repair. Today is the 7th of July, 2025, and I am still waiting for the dealership to give me the status. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

This truck handles terribly when towing our camper, specifically when other vehicles are passing us or there is wind. It sways something awful!.
