Three problems related to steering tie rod assembly have been reported for the 2000 Ford F-350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
: the contact stated since purchase the vehicle has a shimmy in the front end passenger side. This occurs at 35-45 mph, when the tires have at least 10,000 miles worth of wear. The tire brand has been changed multiple times and the type of tire does not affect the problem. The vehicle has not been to a dealership or mechanic, but the contact replaced the tie rod end twice, center link, and spindle on the passenger side. These efforts have not corrected the problem.
The driver applied the brakes,and the vehicle suddenly started vibrating uncontrollably. The driver was able to maintain control of the vehicle and drove it to the dealer.
