The contact owns a 2008 Ford Focus. The vehicle was not equipped with a spare tire, jack, and/or lug wrench at the time of purchase. The dealer stated that the vehicles do not come with spare tires, jacks or lug wrenches. The dealer attempted to locate a jack, spare tire, and wrench, but the manufacturer did not design a spare tire or jack for the two door Ford Focus. There had been no failure to date. Consumer states that jack equipment does not include the proper size lug nut wrench. Included wrench is too small and consumer has not been able to find proper size anywhere. Mfr advised consumer that it's the dlr's responsibility. Dlr advised consumer that they are not able to locate the proper size wrench. Vehicle's tires are the original/16 inch.

While using jack when changing tire jack would not let vehicle down. Dealer ordered another jack. Consumer states that the nut welded to the jack was broken.
Jack bent trying to change a flat tire. This was first time using it. Dealer took jack and would repair it, but it was never returned.
