My car seat undercarriage is disattached. I took my car in to a nearby Ford dealership and was told my VIN number was not associated with the recalls. Although my car's VIN did not have a recall, I am having the same issues as everyone else that had a recall. I was unable to adjust my car seat for suitable driving and therefore ended up having an accident. I tried to reach out to several companies in reference to my seat issue. No one could help me bc my VIN number didn't match. I have been trying to get assistance with this issue since 6/2020 but was turned away at platimum Ford in terrell TX. Please have someone to contact me as soon as possible I had a wreck 12/28/20 my airbag did not deploy until after the crash. The force of the air bag broke my husbands arm, I am not pleased with Fords recall procedures because all defects that happened to my car prior to my wreck were being overlooked because my VIN number did not match the recalls list. I feel like just because a car was not manufactured in a certain area and in a certain period of time should all be accepted if a flaw alike what's notified.

I got into a wreck about two months ago and my air bags didnt deploy I wasnt going to do anything about it till I seen there was a recall on my car for airbags and I decided I needed to file a complaint as you can see from the picture my wreck was pretty bad and the air bags never went off. I got ran off the road and hit a ice patch and spun out I to the mountain head on and the bags never deployed.

I was stopped at a stop sign and was hit head on and the air bags never deployed. Damage to my grill, hood, bumper, side panels and driver side door wouldn't open. The impact should have caused my air bags to deploy. It was a hard enough impact that it actually moved my car. Air bags do not work.

I noticed this issue a few different times and thought nothing major of it, but for whatever reason my transmission would continue to propel the vehicle forward regardless of the vehicle was in neutral and also noticed the vehicle would often times continue to accelerate and fail to engine brake after my foot had let off the accelerator. The latter of which I was more concerned about and was going to have a mechanic look at it next time I took the vehicle in to get serviced. However, before I was able to do that I was involved in a motor vehicle accident that totaled the vehicle. I was driving in a rural area and approached a set of train tracks. I went to slow down to cross the tracks via engine braking, but the vehicle continued to accelerate. I attempted to use the brakes to slow down before I reached the tracks, but the delayed response and the gravel on the roadway proved no avail at slowing the vehicle and I hit the tracks going much faster than I would have liked, around 40 miles per hour. The roughness of the tracks caused my front axle to snap, yanking me to the right off the roadway, through someone's yard and into some timber. What I thought was also concerning was the airbags failed to deploy at all during the accident.

Got in a car accident to where I experienced injuries and the air bags did not deploy.

Air bags did not deploy in 45 mph front end t-bone crash to the front passenger side of the Ford Fusion. The 2011 Ford Fusion was previous repaired for the titika air bag fault but failed to deploy causing my wife nerve damage and additional injures that are still being evaluated. Please investigate the fault as I have seen numerous reports / complaints from others with this same issue / the air bags still not deploying after the fix. . Thank you.

Airbag light came on. Asked dealer to check. They said it looked like a wire had been cut. So they said wouldn't fall under warranty. This makes no sense. It should be covered. I have only had my car to Ford dealerships for regular maintenance under their plan since purchased new. Airbags have never deployed. I have no idea where these wires are even located. So is this faulty from day one or done while other work regular maintenance or recall work done? why do I need to pay for almost $500 for repair? should be warranty work.

I have already contacted NHTSA, reference # 11119887, I explained that the vehicle was sold to me on January 21, 2017 by al piemonte Ford dealership in illinois. I had no knowledge that the vehicle already had an airbag recall on it and they sold it to me without disclosing this information. They later sent me my first recall notice in the mail 16s26 / NHTSA recall 16v-384 we were involved in a car accident and the airbags did not deploy. When I went to my local Ford dealer, where I was told to go, the Ford dealership informed us that the recall was only for the passenger side not for the driver side airbag. I showed them proof of our accident including pictures from the insurance showing the Ford dealer that neither of the airbags deployed during the accident. We provided proof and paperwork to the Ford dealer. They only replaced one airbag for free and forced us to pay $536. 41 out of pocket. This is our only vehicle and we have a small child. They told us the fact that the driver side did not deploy during the car accident is not there problem and there is nothing that they could do; so we had no other choice, we we're forced to have both airbags replaced. I have an official complaint put in with Ford company, complaint # cas-15888814-t4g1m1 I sent this complaint to their customer relationship center in michigan. I also sent this complaint to the al piemonte Ford in melrose park, IL where the vehicle was originally purchased. I also put in a complaint with the federal trade commission, office of defect investigation complaint #100426513 I have not heard back from anyone! no response back from Ford, no response back from the federal trade commission and no response back from NHTSA. Do you have an update or any status on my complaint? please advise. While driving 70mph on the highway our vehicle was suddenly smashed into by another vehicle. The other vehicle smashed into us at 45 degree angle and from behind on the driver's side of our vehicle while going approx. 70mph itself. The other vehicle hit our vehicle precisely where our vehicle's owner's manual describes our side impacts air bag sensors to be but our driver's side airbag did not deploy. No airbags deployed at all. Ford motor company has serviced our driver's side airbag several times, and in this case just weeks prior to our accident and deployment failure. Ford has serviced our driver's side airbag on 3 separate occasions, 2 of which we have documentation for. The missing documentation is the result of a change in ownership of one of the dealerships, and change in computer records.
