The contact owns a 2011 Ford Fusion se. While driving approximately 3 mph in reverse, the contact was unable to detect a complete view of any obstacles through the rear windshield or the rear view mirror. The contact crashed into a cement pillar which was ten feet behind the vehicle due to poor visibility. The contact did not mention if she was injured. The manufacturer was notified and recommended that a camera and video screen be installed in the vehicle at the owner's expense. The vehicle was not repaired.
