On the morning of Thursday November 21st, 2013 I loaded my kids for school and proceeded to exit my garage and turn my defrost on when not a min later my rear window popped and shattered. I called Ford and reported the incident and was advised that was not a safety concern and that it would not be repaired. My children sitting in the back seat could have been seriously injured by the class but not for the tint that held it in place. . .

Since I bought this car, streaks appear on the windows when you open and close them. I asked the dealer about this during an oil change and showed him first hand how the window was spotless and then I lowered it and raised it and it had verticle streaks from one side to the other. He told me he had heard this from other Fusion owners and unless Ford issued a recall that it could get costly to have it fixed. I avoid opening the windows because those streaks are destracting on sunny days and can give the appearance of something being there that isn't when turning your head to look or looking through the side mirrors. My dad just bought a Ford f-250 and his doesn't do this so maybe it's the parts that Ford uses on this vehicle that cause the problem.

Low beams dangerously inadequate. Low beams illuminate a pattern of only
18 ft. In front of vehicle. At 25 miles per hour a vehicle travels
36. 6 feet per second, which means the driver has less then a half of
one second to react to anything in or on side of the road. Had the vehicle to the dealer twice regarding this but not until the
salesman and service manager took a night time ride did they believe
my complaint. After the night ride time they both agreed, "they would
not drive a car like that". Service checked four other Fusions and
discovered they too had this pattern of light. Since the beams are
within the owners manual specks and Ford has not
addressed/acknowledged this issue as of yet (waiting for a fatality?)
the dealer could not help me and suggested installing after markets
and registering the VIN# with the NHTSA. Purchased piaa 75's and had
their service dept install. This did not fix the 18 ft. Visibility pattern problem.
