Takata recall campaign number 19s01. In response to recall-vehilce was repaired by hammonahasset Ford, madison, CT. On the way back home after picking up the vehicle from the recall the air bag light illuminated. Also noticed that glove box was not aligned correctly and the dashboard compartment was not aligned as well. The dashboard was also not re-installed correctly . A second appointment was made and the service department advised that the vehicle was reporting code b0028. I was advised that I needed to pay a $200 fee to have the compute checked to determine the issue. The dealer was advised that there was no issue with the airbag light when the vehicle was brought in for the recall and they denied to correct the situation claiming that the code was not associated with the airbag recall. I researched the code and it came back to a faulty passenger airbag or wiring issue. A complaint was also filed with Ford with no return response. It appears that this is not just a coincidence as the error code is related to the passenger srs. Now no one can sit safely in the right front and right rear passenger side of the vehicle as the entire right side srs is disabled. No response from dealer to date and second call made to Ford headquarters.

Airbag light has been constantly illuminated since one week ago Sunday. There seems to be an electrical problem with the car. In the past year, the 12 volt battery has died twice requiring replacement. The first time it happened all the lights went on the dash and it did not have as much power. (car still started) power steering seemed inhibited. The 2nd time it wouldn't start at all. The airbag light is on and it seems that there is something wrong with the sync system. I don't know if the car has a short or what. Ford dealers are inundated with work and don't have time to look at the car.

At random while car is on at any time and any speed (parked and just turned on, at a red light, driving on freeway or city driving, turning or driving straight. ) rear parking aid is disabled with light turned on, airbag lights turn on, service advance trac light turns on, the power steering goes out all the same time. Then randomly turns off and drives normal again at anytime ( shortly after the problem occurs, sometimes it stays on an entire drive 1hr+ even if parked and turned car completely off and on again) this has been brought into the deal multiple times with it occurring again shortly after being "fixed".

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid. The contact stated that there was a random fuel leak that continued to progress. The dealer (Ford of escondido, 1717 auto park way, escondido, CA 92029, (760) 745-3361) attempted to order the part several times, and had two estimated shipment dates. The most recent date was August 27, 2017. The manufacturer was unable to provide a reasonable time frame to supply the part to the dealer. The vehicle remained parked since may of 2017. The contact had to obtain a rental vehicle due to the delay from the manufacturer. The manufacturer was contacted several times and the contact was still waiting for the part months later. In addition, the vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign number: 16v384000 (air bags) and was uncertain as to when the remedy and parts would be supplied to the dealer. The contact stated that the air bag off indicator kept randomly illuminating while waiting for the part from the manufacturer. The failure mileage was not available. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
