The contact owns a 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid. The contact stated that while driving at low speeds, the steering wheel loosened without warning. The vehicle was taken to chapman Ford of lancaster (1485 manheim pike, lancaster, PA 17601) where they inspected the vehicle and tightened the bolts around the inside of the steering wheel. Months later while reversing the vehicle into the driveway, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to chapman Ford. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor inspected. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
