The contact owns a 2017 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that on various occasions, there was water coming from the passenger’s side of the instrument cluster rainy weather. The contact also stated that the infotainment screen intermittently failed to display as designed. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to two local dealers, gosch Ford escondido (1717 auto park way s, escondido, CA 92029) and north county Ford (450 w vista way, vista, CA 92083) however, the failures could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired, and the failure persisted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the warranty had expired and advised them to file a complaint with the NHTSA hotline. The failure mileage was 30,291.
