Fuel Injection Problems of Ford Mustang

Iac valve, when the car will start but will not idle, looking at everyone's trouble with this issue, makes me wonder why Ford motor company will not grow balls and make it right. I wanted a Mustang but the Ford name will never be parked in my drive way again. Mr h. Ford would hang his head down over this on.

Hesitation getting fuel when stepping on accelerator - usually occurs after car has been running for a while. After coming to a stop or turn, the hesitation occurs – known problem by Ford engineers according to service- no fix available. This problem has almost caused me three collisions.

I purchased a 2000 Mustang gt. When cold, and putting the vehicle in drive or reverse, it will suddenly jump forward or reverse depending on if your in reverse or drive. It is if it "gives" itself gas. I tried contacting Ford and they said there was a problem, but not something that they were "prepared" to deal with at this time. This is a safety hazard that if someone is not prepared, will cause them to go into traffic, hit a young child or gas pump. This is not isolated, I have spoken to several people that have had the same problem. My vehicle does this often, and if my wife is driving it, I have to remind her to be careful.

Car will stall while moving. Loss of power braking/steering will occur. Dt.

Engine died as approaching stop sign while clutch pedal was depressed. Has occurred 5-6 times, usually when traveling up an incline.

Master cylinder problems. Was replaced/repaired by dealership and returned. Brake still makes funny noise and is still "mushy" when applied. Fuel injection has be repaired 4 going on 5 times now. Engine makes a pinging/diesel sound when driven at constant rate of speed. Sometimes at 30 mph, sometimes at highway speeds. Sensors have been replaced, injectors have been replaced and still not fixed. At idle/stop car jumps forward without accelorator applied.

Fuel injection-vehicle would not start fuel instead came from engine onto blacktop driveway,causing damage to blacktop- standard transmission-oil seal leaking.

Ford admits there is a problem but can't fix it, says its a characteristic. Didn't want to buy a characteristic. Notified settlement board and they say it is a liabilities/legal issue. Car is a safety hazard. No safety defec tlisted within summary.

Vehicle is hard to start. Sometimes has alot of hesitation or missing on takeoff or reverse. Also, normally have to kill engine 1-2 times before proper engine idle occures. Dt.
