Brake pedal and accelerator pedal are too close to each other. I was coming to a stop and had my work boots on, put my foot on I guess both the brake and accelerator, causing me to bump the car in front of me. No injuries, but neverless a jolt.
When the consumer applies brakes, his foot depresses the accelerator pedal also causing the vehicle to accelerate slowly. The consumer stated that the accelerator pedal and the brake pedal are located close to each other and are dangerous.
This vehicle will not slow down, when I let foot off of the accelerator.

Vehicle hesitated to accelerate when the gas pedal was depressed from a stop position. Intermittently this failure occurred while driving. On one occasion, when this failure occurred, it resulted in consumer's vehicle being rear ended. Dealership serviced the vehicle several times, and performed a diagnostic test, in which no failure code was found. But the failure recurred.
Brake pedal and accelerator pedal are the same height, and are set close together, causing misapplication of pedal because of power adjustable foot pedals. Dealer has been notified.
Accelerator hesitates to accelerate, jerks and sticks down.
Throttle keeps sticking after letting go, and it accelerates up to 1600 rpms. Consumer must step on brakes to stop accelerations. Please provide further information.
