I when through the turn and hit a large curb and then ran into the guard rail. I ripped the guard rail off and still proceeded for an additional 150 feet on the grass before the vehicle finally came to a complete stop. It scared the hell out of me.

The second time it happened, I turned it off for 90 minutes. When I restarted the car the engine revved without my foot on the gas pedal. I see that there was a previous recall for the same issue with the same make/model/year but my car is not included in that recall. Why? thank you for your time.

Car has issues of sudden acceleration, seems like a stick in gas pedal, noticed when speed reaches between 40 and 45 mph and then when speed is reached at 65 mph. No explanation for sudden exceleration. Does not happen every time car is driven. Had taken to dealership and they could not get exceleration issue to happen with them. Had checked out 2 times, both times, nothing found. Scary when you think you will not be able to stop car when acceleration happens. Issue started all of a sudden, first time the first of September, never had any other issues with my Taurus, acceleration happened two times in the past week, stood up on brake and was able to stop, but car seemed that it wanted to creep down the road, tried tapping gas pedal to see if it would unstick, didn't work. Had to throw in park and cut off ignition. I love my Taurus, but I'm really scared to drive it now. I checked to see if recalls were listed for it, but there wasn't. Service manager at dealership states they were no recalls listed. Seems you can't find cars without some type of issue now. Recalls, recalls, recalls, or matters that are in being investigated, manufacturers don't investigate issues reported by public until there has been a serious injury or death due to safety issue with vehicles.

I brought my car into west herr Ford in amherst NY in August 2013 for a recall install clip. I took the car back to them a few weeks later and told them about this acceleration problem. They took the car for a test drive, of course it didn't happen then.
