The contact mentioned that the vehicle was previously repaired under a manufacturer's recall for a related failure in 2013. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the bulb overheated and caused the socket, the wires, and the headlight housing unit to burn. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 65,279.
