Car Accelerates On Its Own Problems of GMC Envoy

Vehicle was stationary and in drive when it had a uncontrolled acceleration resulting in a collision with a garage where it was being parked. Extensive damage resulted to the home and vehicle. No injuries.

Some times when the brakes are applied the throttle also advances causing unwanted acceleration. Happens at low speeds. Have there been any factory recalls for this problem?.

While driving vehicle suddenly accelerated uncontrollably. Consumer was not able to maintain control of the vehicle, and it hit a guard rail, flipped over six times, and landed upright. Upon impact, both frontal airbag did not deploy. Driver sustained neck and back injuries and was transported to the hospital. Vehicle was totaled out by the insurance company.

While stopped the engine ran at 900 rpm's. After the brake was released the rpm's climbed to 1100 and the vehicle accelerated suddenly. The dealer replaced the fuel emissions canister once, and reset the electrical codes, and replaced the fuel tank, but the problem recurred.
