Engine Stall problems of the 1999 Honda Accord

Four problems related to engine stall have been reported for the 1999 Honda Accord. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Engine Stall problem

Failure Date: 11/29/2013

Tl- the contact owns 1999 Honda Accord lx. The contact stated that while driving 65 mph, the engine stalled without warning. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 300,030. Pam.

2 Engine Stall problem

Failure Date: 07/06/2004

02 v 120 000/ignition switch: after having the recall repairs done by the dealer approximately 1 year ago, the vehicle been having an on going / intermittent problems with engine stalling. The vehicle has been to the dealer on several occasions and they were unable to duplicate or resolve the issue. Please provide any further information.

3 Engine Stall problem

Failure Date: 11/24/2001

While driving approximately 15 to 20 mph engine stalled unexpectedly. Dealership examined vehicle but was unable to reproduce the problem.

4 Engine Stall problem

While driving 50 to 60 mph the vehicles engine stalled without warning which resulted in loss of power steering. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who replaced the ignition switch, but the problem recurred.
