I noticed today that paint was peeling from the upper groove between the roof and back window panel of the car. I’m very concerned that overtime this will lead to corrosion that may possibly affect the integrity and safety of the back window leading to potential injury. Per my research, a “service bulletin” was realeased by Honda on Aug 29, 2019 extending the warranty for 2014-2015 Honda Accords to resolve this same issue but, unfortunately it was limited to fanthom blue pearls or obsidian blue pearl. In addition, this is not an isolated case as many Honda owners have voiced the same complaint in forums and different websites.
The paint is peeling off 6 months after I bought the car. South shore Honda and american Honda are not doing anything. I spoke with the manager at south shore Honda,,willie mejia who referred me to american Honda and american Honda referred me back to the dealer.

Subframe on passenger side is rusted through creating a safety hazard. I was unaware of this issue on 1999-2002 Honda Accords but when researching for the cause of a noise coming from the front end found plenty of articles but no corrective action from Honda.

My vehicle trunk randomly unlatches and opens. The trunk does both while driving and when parked. The key fob button to open the trunk is not pressed or in range during these incidents. This is a safety concern in that if can block my rearward view. It is also an inconvenience since it can lead to theft of contents and the car.

Report is for a potential incident. Should the hood not be fully closed and only be held by the hood release lever at the front of the hood, the vehicle will not notify the driver of the potential danger even though the vehicle utilizes a sensor for the hood. Driving around with the hood not fully closed could result in an accident should the hood lever fail. This is on at least two different Honda models both the Accord and the crv.
The black parts of the front grill is melting.
Paint chipping on the body, the paint has chipped down to bare metal.
2/24/22 - drove to work in the morning. Front driver door will not open from outside or inside. Had to climb over the center console and exit thru the passenger door. The driver's door will unlock, but will not open. Problem disappeared when getting back to the car after work (4pm est). 3/1/22 - rear driver door would not open from outside or inside. This was going on most of the day. Took the car to great lakes Honda west (elyria, ohio) at about 6:30pm est. The rear driver door opened when at the dealership. The service tech mentioned possible bcm issue, but said I would have to bring it back when the door was stuck closed again.
While driving this Honda Accord the sunroof suddenly exploded into thousands of little pieces. It rained down pieces of glass all over me and the interior of the car. Nothing hit the glass and I had never heard of this occurring until I began researching to see if it had happened to others. There are many instances where people have talked of this happening to them on the Honda forum and other places online. This is definitely a safety concern. Glass shattering and pouring down on people while they are driving is potentially a fatal flaw. Cars with sunroofs should be required to use laminated glass like for windshields,.
Passenger door well not unlock from key fob (keyless unlock a door) or inside unlock switch. This is an intermittent problem and Honda dealer cannot resolve it. I believe this imposes a safety hazard. I cannot get in unless I use the key or go round to the passenger side and crawl over to the inside door latch.

Purchased a brand new 2018 Honda Accord I’ve only had it for 3 years and the paint is chipping. I’ve contacted the dealer where purchased and they stated it’s out of the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty and won’t do anything about it. Opened a case with american Honda motor corp and still haven’t heard anything back from the regarding my vehicle paint issue.
I just happened to be outside today, and noticed and discovered body rust on the rocker panels (both sides) near the rear doors (below doors and in front of rear tires). This would have had to begun a while ago, for me to be just now noticing visible rust and rust-bubbles today. I have also discovered this is a habitual rust issue specific to Honda and the Accord going back several generations, and apparently also habitual front-end frame and/or sub-frame rust issues. For the times I have had it at a Honda dealership service department, and their supposedly "vehicle inspection" to have been included with each service, no person at a Honda dealership service department ever mentioned any rust whatsoever. I purchased my Accord new in 2014, and has approximately 47,000 miles on it today (which of course, factory warranty has expired). It would seem obvious to me that Honda themselves had to always be aware of this type of issue. As I also discovered today via internet searching, that rust has been a Honda Accord issue for over 20 years. Their dealerships ought to be recommending, suggesting, or offering rust protection/rust preventative be applied when buying a new Honda (for a cost to the consumer of course). "paint protection" that come with new Hondas, isn't going to take care of nor prevent rust issues. I can't say I've ever been happy nor impressed with my Accord, and all the times I've had it at a dealership service department and mentioned the door wind/door window noise (and finding a "service bulletin" today specific to this on the NHTSA website, but no one at any Honda dealership service department (at least not in the central ohio area) has any concern nor interest in investigating anything at all mentioned by a consumer; they only want to change the oil, replace tires, replace filters, and replace wiper blade inserts.
The clip that holds the door closed gets loose and the door opens while driving. Can tighten with screwdriver, but will get loose again.

Paint peeling. Large half dollar coin sized peeling paint on the hood. Paint is peeling off and the paint is very thin. Normal highway driving will cause paint to chip off to the primer and metal level.
I don't have a air bag due to someone stealing the whole air bag.

7 year old child sitting behind father when vehicle was hit from behind causing intrusion into the vehicle pushing the rear seat area forward; from the impact, driver's seatback yielded/failed significantly into the child's rear seating position area causing permanent catastrophic brain injuries to the child. Vehicle is currently being stored and preserved for evidence at safe, 6775 hollister Ave. , goleta, CA 93117. Inspections of the vehicle are anticipated in the future.
Significant paint peeling on the roof of the vehicle on both driver and passenger side was reported to Honda prior to 36k miles. Claim submitted to american Honda has been denied but no explanation has been given.
Hood release cable has seized closed - Honda has been unable to give any explanation as to why and repair times for part are months out - unable to access engine or battery compartment due to this- unable to refill washer fluid, check oil etc -.
I have brought the vehicle to the dealer as well as several auto body specialists. The paint is bubbling and peeling on the driver's side door, around the gas cap and on the frame around the trunk. Several online reports have been posted online and several other models from Honda have had extended recalls on their paint warranty. The same extension should be applied to the Honda Accord and Honda should be responsible for taking corrective actions as further failure of the paint to adhere will cause significant body damage, especially for owners like me who live in an area who use salt to treat their roads.
My 2018 Honda Accord the paint is pealing and rusting on the roof on both sides of the roof. I took the car to a body shop recommended by the dealer ship. After car was inspected Honda America told the dealership that they would split the cost of the repair with me. Honda America provided me with a case number I find this unacceptable.
The engine cradle is rooting out from the ac unit is draining on it and it about to brake because of the way Honda did it I hope the recall is made on it.
I was pulling slowly out of a drive-through bank facility onto a one-way street with no traffic, and suddenly my car started to turn to the side. I had no control over the steering and the car ping-ponged from curb to curb, striking several stationary objects and a parked car.

Tl the contact owns a 2018 Honda Accord. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the front passenger's side door allowed the outside elements inside the cabin of the vehicle, resulting in the vehicle not being properly sealed against the outside elements. The vehicle was taken to hendrick Honda of charleston (1539 savannah hwy, charleston, SC 29407, (843) 279-0447) however, was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 19,000.
I [xxx] am writing this letter about my 2020 Honda Accord. VIN number [xxx]. I leased this car in January of 2019 from tampa Honda. My brother's name is on the lease and his name is [xxx] . He has been leasing cars for me over 5 years, from Honda. On February 10, 2020, I was outside cleaning my car, like I always do for the last 20 years with the car running so I can listen to the music. I was on the passenger side cleaning the inside dash board, and all of a sudden the car rolled backwards. I was in a state of shock and didn't know how to stop it. I was half way in the car, and half way outside with my feet on the ground. The car rolled out in the street and hit the car parked across street. I had to file a claim for the car I hit, plus I went to the hospital because I hurt my leg. I contacted tampa Honda and was told to take this to the service department. They wouldn't help me, so I waited to Monday, and I went to take it to the finance and spoke to [xxx] and showed him the video and showed him a video of the car going in reverse by itself and they said there is nothing they can do for me. I then contacted Honda corporation office and explained to them the situation and they gave me a case number, [xxx], and told me someone would get back to me in 3 days. The lady [xxx] contacted me and told me it was nothing wrong with the car, and she said she is sorry for what happened, but there is nothing they can do. She also told me that it is a good thing I contacted my insurance to fix the other person's car, but there is nothing she can do. I am writing this letter in hopes of getting some kind of help, because the car is not safe and they will not take it back. My neighbor has surveillance and he uploaded a video to you tube. The video is https://youtu. Be/jvy9. My neighbor put it on his youtu [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

Paint on hood getting 100's of pimples, some small some larger, photo enclosed note wax was put on to highlight the spots.
The driver side lower ball joint spontaneously failed at 106000 miles. No creaking, whining, clunking, or any indication that it was failing. There were no cracks in the boot and the vehicle drove fine prior to the failure.
1. The apple car play freezes with the original apple lightning cable 2. The driver's door closes worse than the passenger door. I have to push the driver's door much harder to close it. 3. The issue with the air conditioner. I'm using auto 72 degrees and don't like to play with the ac. 30-40 minutes after warming up the car, the air from the left and right front grilles begins to blow with cold air, I feel cold air on my knees. If I manually change the direction of the air only to the face, then the air is blowing warm. If I return the air conditioner to automatic mode, I feel cold air again from the left and right front girls. 4. Still hear long loud humming sound while driving on highway 53 mph from the front doors speakers I assume, and short loud humming sound while driving in city around 28-29 mph. I suppose the active noise cancellation system working not properly.
The paint is defective , the clear coat is peeling off a lot of scratches all over the body of the vehicle in many places . The is 2020 and has less than 1400 miles. About 6 months old garage kept .
The hood on the 2018 Honda Accord vibrates at highway speeds (not a little, but significantly). Two separate body specialists tried to make adjustment which resulted in slightly better fit, but still, the hood vibrates (again, not a little, but an unsettling amount) at highway speeds. Honda already has a known issue with the pilot model's hood: https://Honda. Oemdtc. Com /711/hood-flutter-or-vibration-at-highway-speeds-2016-2019-Honda-pilot-2017-2019-ridgeline and now, 2018+ owners are starting to complain about the hood stability at higher speeds as well. When I had initially raised the issue with american Honda, they ignored it (and, as they always do, told me to go to the dealer). Since then, Honda has done nothing to truly address the problem. An investigation (and a possible recall) should be initiated.
2018 Honda Accord hybrid touring - loud humming noise while cruising at 52mph. Read google and you'll find many others have similar issues but no known resolve. Have been repeatedly able to reproduce and it can be obnoxious at times but of course Honda denies any knowledge of the issue and claims they are unable to reproduce.
