Engine Head Gasket Failure Problems of Honda Accord

2000 Honda Accord se 2000 1hgcg6691ya093040 oil passes to the antifreeze reservoir, mechanic advice to replace the head gasket and do the work check the head on a machine shop and replace the head gasket and check the head on machine shop reinstall the head on the motor change oil, antifreeze. After 2 weeks check the antifreeze reservoir and oil is on it. The problem is as for the mechanic suggested, is the porous of the motor is a defect from melting aluminum.

The contact owns a 2009 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at 25 mph, the vehicle shutoff without warning. Due to the failure, the contact had the vehicle towed to racine Honda - dealer service & parts (9501 washington Ave, racine, WI 53406) where they diagnosed the vehicle with a defective alternator. The contact had the alternator and the head gasket replaced. Since the initial failure, the contact stated that the same failure recurred on three separate occasions. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken back to the same dealer each time to have the alternator replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and offered no further assistance. The vehicle had been repaired for the fourth time. The failure mileage was 70,950.

I bought this Honda Accord lx 2013 in Aug 2012. About a few months later, I notice the car engine oil level keep decreasing. Then I see there are oil leak marks at the overhead cover where it is tightened to the engine block. In August 2013, I brought my car to nearby Honda dealer. They kept my car for two days and said they replaced the gasket. But after one month, I still see oil leaking out at the same spot. Today, Dec 16, 2013, I bring my Accord back to the dealer. They told me I had to leave my car there until tomorrow (Dec 17) while they are ordering another new gasket. I am extremely disappointed a persistent oil leak has happened with a brand new Honda Accord 2013 !!! I research on line and see this issue also happens with some other 2013 Honda Accord owners.

: the contact stated the horn worked intermittently and was hard to press in certain spots. The dealership re-fitted the horn wires and determined the horn was operating to factory specifications. The repairs did not repair the problem. The accelerator would always stick in the morning. The door locks worked intermittently. The right front window would squeak when going up. With 46,270 miles, two head bolts broke resulting in the failure of the head gasket. The vehicle did not overheat until after the gasket failed. The dealer has "suggested' that the bolts were over torqued after manufacturer, however, I purchased this vehicle new and no work has been done on it that would involve the head bolts. Repair involved a new gasket kit and 12 new bolts. I have the old bolts.
