2 Engine Knocking Noise problem of the 2010 Honda Civic

Failure Date: 01/03/2017

My car has 65000 miles and everytime while reversing there is a knocking sound and heavy vibrations. Also when turning right it has some vibrations and knocking sounds. I found out that it is the passenger side engine mount that has failed. I did some research and found out that this is a normal trend for 8th gen Honda Civic's. I don't know why Honda doesn't do a recall to fix this issue, they are doing one for their airbags already, why not add this too. This is a major safety hazard and a major accident just waiting to happen.

3 Engine Knocking Noise problem of the 2008 Honda Civic

Failure Date: 09/28/2015

Shortly after receiving a voluntary warranty extension/ recall my wife's 2008 Honda Civic lx 4 dr. Experience an engine block crack after driving on the freeway. I drove it to the dealer in waukesha, WI where is was confirmed as a crack. Since the replacement I have experienced issued with the new block including a knocking sound in the engine at low rpm's I was advised by Honda in CA that the block is new however the older internal engine block parts were being reused to include the crank, pistons, etc. Which is causing the new engine to fail also.

4 Engine Knocking Noise problem of the 2007 Honda Civic

Failure Date: 05/13/2013

I live in arizona and my car is immaculate. I took my car in to have two service bulletins fixed: 3rd gear pops out/ grinds and knocking noise from front when turning. I thought Honda dealer or american Honda corp. Would come thru and fix what was inadequately designed/built. The dealer treated me like I was an idiot, and Honda corp. Said I should have known and reported the problem under warranty. $1700 for 3rd gear, and they denied there was a knocking noise from front end. I didn't even complain about my rear tires wearing badly because they wont wreck my car, like the transmission and engine mount problems. Do they think I'll trade the car into Honda, so I wont have to deal with the problems, and buy a new car from them? I like my sporty Civic, but no, I wont give them my money. Very disappointed in what use to be a good car company.
