On December 20, I bought the car, Honda Civic type r 2019 red. Approximately the day I bought it, I noticed that when I put the second change to a strange noise, I told the seller emmanuel berrios and he told me that maybe it is me who is throwing the wrong changes. Time passes and I keep going more often I call America Honda the following month, which was in January about 3 weeks after buying the vehicle and I tell them that I am having problems with the transmission that every time I put the second change it makes me an strange noise, all the information is pointed out, the case number they give me is # 09236240 and in that case number is all the information previously mentioned. When I make the first change of oil and filter of the auto I communicate what of said failure and they tell me the car is well maybe they are theirs. On March 24 I noticed that when I put the car in second place the change after several days took the car to the dealer yesterday March 25, 2019 and today March 26 the manager calls me if he authorized it to lower the transmission since the codes that the car gave him did not say anything accurate and the technician tells him that there may have been a bad handling or a bad change and there is the communication to the service manager (xxxx) the car is new and since he bought it had a failure of transmission so mismanagement can not be and he tells me that the technician confirm that there was a mishandling or Honda guarantee or the extended that I put additional to the car would cover the damage and at that time I communicate from the beginning communicate problems of transmission. My name is (xxxx) and phone num is (xxxxx) parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. I paid $4,200 in a cashiers check 9/12/2018 for a car. Owner told me it had been tested and looked over by his mechanics and that if any problems with the engine or transmission occurred that it was under a guarantee. The following day, 9/13/2018, I heard strange sounds from engine and car frequently jerked forward. Took it to south tacoma Honda to inspect vehicle for $143. 13. Was told valves need to be adjusted and would cost nearly $500. Went to dealership and the manager named chocolate. Told me to take car to 161 garage to get fixed over weekend. That Monday was told they couldn't complete job and to have Honda complete job. Chocolate reluctantly agreed to get car to Honda to have them adjust the valves and he would pay for it when it was finished. He did not show back up and both myself and the Honda service reps had to call him for payment. Worked out payment in the morning if his dealership agreed. Honda rep called dealership asking repeatedly for an owner or manager and never got straight answer. When explaining my situation and inquiring authorization for payment from chocolate, person on phone from the dealership began bad mouthing their own employee saying he was a nobody and admitted they lied about the condition of the car telling the Honda rep so what. was able to take car but was told me to return if the payment was not made the next morning. That morning, 9/18/2018, my girlfriend agreed to drive me to work and go back in if Honda called. But car died on the freeway nearly causing accident and was hard to brake. We were lucky we had been close to shoulder so I could veer away from cars and off the road. We had to get it off the freeway and have it towed to the Honda in renton costing another $15. Then $148. 50 inspection fee from Honda renton after service reps found major engine issues with cylinder 3 causing the valves to come loose overnight.

The car vibrates upon turing it on and engine sounds very noisy. I took it to Honda service center on route 22 in hillside and they said it was the motor mount which was replaced at a cost to me of $600. 00 . They claimed there was no warranty for engine trouble available.

When started and put in reverse the car shakes and makes noise. The problem was diagnosed as bad motor mounts. 75,000 miles on the odometer. This is the same complaint made by many owners. I've read on line that this problem is wide spread with others looking for a recall.
At 74,515 miles the transmission is out of my 2004 Civic,. . The car is in excellent condition even the original floor mats are in place and look great because of my care of the car,. . . I want Honda to pay for the cost of a new transmission for choosing to install a cheep one and knowing it wouldn't last. I was driving home from work and was just about ran over by traffic when my car began to slow and make noise putting me in a very stressful situation.

No power. No acceleration. I am fortunate the car behind me was cautious enough to slow down. I had no power, no get-up, no nothing and I was flooring it to get out of a potential accident. The vehicle has made odd noises since the beginning. Brakes make an odd noise. There is a crackling, tinkling, very odd noise that comes from underneath the car since the beginning of ownership and I guess that's how the car is made (?). I do not know if a car is supposed to act like this, due to have owning manual transmissions the majority of my driving career. No umph on this brand-new car has led me to send in this complaint in case others are experiencing similarities. Odd noise with brakes, odd, very odd noise that tinkers under the car and no acceleration. I use the gasoline outlined/ preferred by the Honda Civic owner's manual.

When I was driving down the highway my 2006 Honda Civic vehicle started to make a loud screaming noise. And smoke started to come out of the hood of the vehicle; I tried to exit off the ramp but the vehicle started to turn off on me while I was attempting to exit the highway; due to the vehicel stalling I was almost hit by a vehicle behind me which would had resulted in a major crash . My vehicle is currently at a repair shop which it was revealed that my engine is cracked and that Honda has had many problems with Civic engines. I feel that Honda needs to fix this problem.

I bought a fully loaded 2012 Honda Civic si sedan, with navigation. Car was wonderful first few weeks, then the issues started. When I engaged the clutch into 1st gear, also reverse, when I would level the clutch with the gas pedal, I would hear a high pitch noise. Kind of like a squeal. In all types of conditions. It is worse in the snow, rain, up a hill, and what not. I took it to my local Honda dealership, the tech testdrove it with me. He heard the noise, he said that he heard it. He thinks it was something hitting the clutch-plate. He said OH Honda is not gong to fix this due to your style of driving I said excuse me? he said well there is no need to have an intake, and an exhaust. By the magnuson-moss warranty act of 1975 it states: if a vehicle is bought new, and you put aftermarket parts on it, just because there are aftermarket parts, it does not void the warranty. If the dealership realizes the issue, and just verbally says they can't fix it due to the parts, without even lifting the car up, that is illegal. They have to find the issue, and say why the aftermarket parts are affecting the clutch. I then called the delership owners son, he said email me the issues, and the VIN. I did, he forwarded it to the customer service manager. When he received the email, there was a corporate Honda representative there. He read my email, and said that they need to look at it. The manager called me, said he received the email that I sent the owner, he said they have to re-make the sound again, even tho they heard it, and put me threw the ringer again. There are also alot of parts inside that need to be replaced. So I have an appointment next Tuesday, hopefully for them to see the issues. There are many people on forums for the 12 si, 9th gen, that are complaining also. The Honda rep said that it was normal in many clutches to hear a high pitched noise?.

I have a question about the 2007 Honda Civic, I purchased the car on October 31st, 2011 and I noticed that the front end was making a noise and a vibration when I decelerate. Took the car to the dealership and they put new tires onto the vehicle and the problem still existed. Over a little time until today, the noise and vibration is still there and wont go away. I dont know if its coming from the engine or the drivetrain. I think its something serious but I cant really tell not being a certified mechanic. Is there a recall on something related to the drivetrain/front end or engine problem?.

1) on several occasions, when key is turned to start the car only an electrical buzzing sound is heard. The car starts normally when key is turned a second time. 2) occasionally, when car starts normally a brief buzz is heard. 3) most recently, when key was turned the engine cranked for 1-2 seconds then stopped and only buzzed. Car started normally when key was turned a second time. These problems are intermittent, have occured for five months and occured three times last week (most frequent occurence so far). Weather and miles driven do not play a role as problem has occured under multiple conditions. Dealer is aware of problem, but unable to duplicate it in four visits.
