Someone stole my radar sensors that is located behind the front Honda emblem. My car still drives but critical security features are disabled. It's not covered under warranty and when I asked Honda if they can put something in to protect the sensor from being stolen again they said they don't have anything. I am scared to park my car anywhere . The part is so easy to steal even a child can do it!!!.

The bolt holding the hatchback piston that opens the trunk in place snapped and the piston went through the gap between the hatchback and the roof.

Goodday, I bought the car a month ago from a dealer on terms. The first time I drove car and turning right its sounds like the wheel or something is about to break off. Like maybe the axel. Extremly loud. Scary loud. No matter speed, turning right does this. I returned car to dealer. They say the router had rust and was corrected. I dont drive the car alot, but again today its making that noise. That pedestrians look worried.

The systems affected with failure notifications were electric parking brake, tpms, emissions, brake, brake hold, power steering, vehicle stability assist, hill start assist, adaptive cruise (including regular cruise), collision mitigation/avoidance, road departure mitigation. The stored codes in the vehicle that I was able to read were p0300, p0303, p0304. This failure bears a striking resemblance to that of TSB 21-010, directed at keihin manufactured fuel injectors, 16010-rlv-315, which was later replaced with updated . . . -305 after the failure was determined, and the vehicles were given a 10 year 150,000 mile warranty. The crv had injector 16010-5pa-305, also manufactured by keihin, which was also later revised to 06160-. . . , but the crv was not given the same warranty extension, suggesting Honda acknowledged the same defect pattern across both injector families but chose not to extend equivalent coverage to the crv. 21-010 also details that debris from the high pressure pump may contribute, and the crv experienced the same fuel pump recall for low density impellers that these vehicles did. Honda is also obligated under TSB 98-081 to perform emissions services due to obd inadequacy, which this vehicle experienced. Misfires were felt for months with no cel. The norm reeves Honda parts catalog classifies injectors as emissions components, implying they should be covered. However, a Honda dealer in CA, mandated by carb and epa, refused to do the repairs or make any goodwill attempt on my behalf. I then reached out to american Honda, who delayed assigning a case manager as long as possible, then required phone contact after initially accepting alternate communication methods, then assigned a case manager whose hours conflicted with my stated availability, then assigned a second who has not answered the phone. I am still awaiting a callback. The vehicle has been immobile and in limp mode for the past two weeks while Honda's callback process remains unresolved.

I was hit on 5/29/26. I was going 40mph or so and a car turned left into the front and side of my vehicle. My airbags did not deploy and was wondering why? I got whiplash bad and hurt myself as well as slamming into steering wheel.

Honda put the Cr-v lidar censor behind the logo emblem on the front grill. The logo is easy to remove, and the censors are being stolen at alarming rates. They're utterly unprotected, and cost over $2000 to fix/replace. It is a huge design flaw and it's unfair that they've saddled car owners with no ability to prevent theft, and huge replacement fees if a theft occurs. I just had the logo emblem stolen and it cost over $320 to replace. That's unacceptable and I'm really mad at whoever designed this car.

The sunroof/moonroof glass spontaneously shattered. At 245 in the afternoon at 65 miles an hour no other vehicles near it. The day was clear and the temperature was in the low 70s. Heard a bang and pulled over to discover the glass had shattered. There was flying glass had another vehicle been near they would be been pelted with broken glass. The potential for injury of the passenger of the vehicle had the shade not been closed. The fact that the glass was not there it was hard to dispute that it happened. The local dealership put it off as an insurance issue rather than dealing with it. Insurance is moving forward. I believe it was a factory defect an should be looked into as a recall. No warnings just broken glass.

We brought the car to the dealer yesterday (where we bought it in Jan 2021), to have the air conditioning fixed. They told us they found rust on the frame and that it would not pass inspection again. It had been inspected there in February, 2026. At that time, we told them about a vibration and they said it was ice build up. But yesterday, they told us the linkage in the driveshaft needs to be replaced. So there are two safety issues: frame rust on an 8 year old vehicle and a faulty driveshaft.

The moonroof glass on my 2026 Honda Cr-v trailsport shattered unexpectedly without any known impact, collision, or road debris strike. The vehicle was being normally operated/parked when the tempered glass suddenly failed. There was no visible impact point or exterior damage to the roof surrounding the glass. The shattered glass created a potential safety hazard to vehicle occupants and other drivers. I am requesting investigation into possible spontaneous tempered-glass failure or manufacturing defect.

While driving on highway , sunroof exploded. There were no other vehicles around , we did not hit anything. The sunroof exploded while were driving 65 mpd . Only glass left was about 2 inched all around the seal.

All warning lamps have been coming on at random times. The dealerships have always said there is no problem. Now, outside of warranty, I am reading that it's possible that the problem is that all of the fuel injectors need to be replaced. Online notes that this is a widespread issue with this particular vehicle. I was informed that I can disconnect the battery and it resets the system and warning lamps - sometimes for hours, sometimes for days/weeks.

I purchase a 2019 crv at 80. 00 miles. It had problems in the first year. I was driving the car stop while was driving in a residential area with no warning sign. I have pics, the next things my rear view mirror fell down I just stop driving to tape it up, next my wire harness broke blacken my dash broad. After that my hatch back stay up it couldn't get it down I drove with it up until I got to the dealership. The service department said the little motor died. So he took the spring I can afford to pay 1200 hundred dollars. No hatch back for me unless I used it manually. Night mare lemon car, brake light keep coming on I change the brakes already. The water pump broke several senor needed fixed as well. Plus I was charge 30, 00 thousand for this car from the in columbus, TX cavender . They knew the car was bad.

Sunroof glass was shattered while on freeway. No rock or debris hit. She was driving back to home from office and other car drivers reported something falling out from top and when she stopped and checked, everywhere was glass debris. This is 2026 Honda crv hybrid sport and just 35 days old bought from dealer. Dealership is saying its not covered under warranty so have to pay from either pocket or insurance.

Recall 23v228 was performed on my vehicle (brace installed), but the structural failure the recall was meant to prevent has occurred anyway. Honda is denying a buyback by claiming 'general rust,' despite stating the vehicle is irreparable and unsafe to drive. . I live in [xxx] . [xxx] on [xxx] noted the frame damage. I spoke to Honda corporate was given case #xxx and was told to take it to a dealer. I took it to lia Honda in northhampon who said the frame is irreperable but it doesn't fall under the recall. While driving, car engine stutters and stops. The infotainment system went black while driving. The system is hard to steer often while turning. The trunk would not open when touching button for it to open. Took out the key fob and it also would not respond. Used the door release from dash and still would not open. Cancel the control unit then tried again and key fob worked that time. I went to dealer and it was reset, and this all happened after the reset. Car was inspected on may 6 at ed napleton Honda st. Peters. Miles 8766. Car purchased at 6500 miles. Recall srs software was performed.

All of my service lights light up on the dashboard. A few times now, my car has stopped or the gas pedal doesn’t want to work in the middle of the road when the car was already running.

Hood vibrates noticeably above 55-60 mph and during car wash drying. It is too obvious that it seems that at some point hood might be dislocated.

Incident 1 — April 23, 2026 | ~71,289 miles while merging onto the freeway, multiple warning lights illuminated simultaneously on the dashboard. Vehicle exhibited uncontrolled acceleration and became unsafe to operate. Incident was captured on video. Vehicle was driven to salinas Honda [xxx] ). Dealer performed two open safety recalls: campaign 24-049:6yp00 (fuel pump safety recall, 2023–25 multi model hybrids) and campaign 24-117:6jp00 (eps gearbox greasing safety recall, 2023–25 Cr-v). Work order #xxx. Incident 2 — April 24, 2026 | 71,302 miles warning lights returned the same day the vehicle was retrieved from the dealer — within hours of release. Vehicle was returned immediately to salinas Honda. Dealer found misfire codes (p0300, p0302, p0303), performed a hard battery reset and steering angle relearn, and conducted a 30-mile test drive. Vehicle was released as repaired. Invoice #xxx. Incident 3 — April 24, 2026 (current) following the second dealer visit, vehicle was driven approximately 90 miles from [xxx] to [xxx] without incident. Approximately 30 minutes after parking, vehicle was restarted for a short local trip. Upon restart, the engine emitted a loud abnormal noise and exhibited severe difficulty accelerating. On April 27, 2026, a third party obd-ii scan performed at autozone confirmed active misfire codes p0300, p0302, and p0303 were still present following a hard battery reset performed by the owner's. My 2017 Honda Cr-v's air conditioning system has repeatedly failed to cool properly over the past several years, occurring approximately 4 to 5 times. The ac blows warm or insufficiently cold air, making driving uncomfortable and unsafe during hot weather, particularly for passengers including children and elderly individuals. I have researched this issue and found that Honda has acknowledged two known defects related to this problem through technical service bulletins TSB 19-091 (ac condenser manufactured out of specification, causing refrigerant leaks) and TSB 23-040 (ac compressor shaft seal defect causing refrigerant and oil leaks). Honda extended the warranty on these components to 10 years with no mileage limit, however no formal safety recall has been issued and owners are not proactively notified. This is a recurring defect affecting thousands of Cr-v owners across multiple model years (2017–2022). I am requesting that NHTSA investigate this pattern and compel Honda to issue a formal recall so that all affected owners are automatically notified and repaired at no cost, rather than requiring owners to discover the warranty extension themselves.

I am reporting a safety-related issue with the front radar sensor on my Honda Cr-v 2026. The sensor is mounted in a location that appears to be easily accessible and insufficiently secured, making it highly vulnerable to theft. My vehicle was recently targeted, and the sensor was removed, resulting in loss of critical driver-assistance features such as collision mitigation braking and adaptive cruise control. This creates a significant safety risk, as the vehicle’s ability to detect and respond to hazards is compromised. Additionally, multiple vehicles in my neighborhood have experienced similar incidents, indicating a potential widespread defect rather than an isolated case. I believe this design exposes owners to both safety hazards and financial burden, and I request that this issue be investigated for possible recall or corrective action to improve the security and protection of the radar sensor.

Well driving down hwy 207 with no other vehicles in site my sunroof spontaneously exploded with no evidence of a rock in sight I did take pictures right afterwards the pictures showed the remaining glass.

In the 5 months I have owned this vehicle, the windshield has been chipped at least six time by debris while driving. As I am retired, I do not do a lot of freeway travel and 700 of the 3400 miles were from a trip to visit my mom. I had fewer windshield chips on my previous Honda crv in 8 years and 90000 miles than I have had with this 2026 crv. My dealer ignored my request to even look at the issue, saying glass was not covered by their warranty and when I called Honda USA, they took the information and casually told me to 'have a blessed day'. My first big chip was repaired through my insurance in December 2025 and I will have 5 more chips looked at today by their preferred shop, safelite. I have taken photos, as best I could, of the chips I discovered while washing the car in the bright sunlight. Having a clear field of vision is so critical to safe driving and the manufacturer should provide a durable windshield for passenger safety.

Multiple dash lights are on and vehicle is running poorly. Was told it was the differential dual pump fluid it was replaced. Dashboard lights are still on. Battery is not that old removed any corrosion on it but still getting dashboard lights.

"fuel pump issues directly cause injector system failures". Today Honda assured me than the fuel pump recall could not interfere in the injector system, that's totally false now I have to changed injector system and spark plugs to my own expense. On Monday 6th of April 2026 showrd engine light as well as stalling when driving on Monday 30th of March ac comprrssor smoked, also need to be replaced.

The infotainment/navigation head unit in my 2018 Honda Cr-v has completely failed. The system is stuck in a continuous boot loop, displaying a ‘software update’ recovery menu screen on every startup and returning to the same screen regardless of which option is selected (reboot, wipe cache, etc. ). The unit is non-functional — no navigation, no backup camera, no audio controls, no phone connectivity. The failure occurred spontaneously with no prior warning, no accidents, and no physical damage to the unit. The vehicle has been inspected by a Honda dealership, which confirmed the head unit requires full replacement at a cost of $1,500. This is a known widespread defect affecting thousands of Honda vehicles across multiple model years. Honda has faced legal action over this exact issue. The infotainment system controls the backup camera display, which is a federally mandated safety feature — its failure puts drivers and pedestrians at risk. The component is available for inspection upon request.

The component affected is the passenger side mirror. The plastic cap over the mirror spontaneously cracked. It sounded like my crv was hit by a rock. I looked over and my mirror was folded into the vehicle. The mirror works, it is not cracked and the movement via the driver side buttons works. Upon stopping and looking, the plastic was broken from the bottom around the interior of the cap. Exterior plastic piece was left. I used black duct tape to keep the remaining pieces together. No warning signs. Pieces of plastic flew off the mirror into the roadway where cars were parked and people would be standing. My crv is going in for an inspection on 4/2/2026.

I was driving on the freewayin the night time on several occasions and the emissions light and check engine light comes on and the car lost speed and would not accelerate. I had to put my hazards on to exit the freeway slowly to pull over turn the car off, sometimes this corrects the problems. But this has happened on several occasions. The vehicle is now at the dealer being diagnostic, they end up keeping the vehicle and haven't told me yet what the issue is.

Multiple warning lights were turning on then turning off in their own, typically 2-3 days later. However while on, all adas showed errors and did not work. Most recent time, had an elevation changed (over 6000 ft), lights came cascading on parked safely. Next morning, car would not accelerate/was extremely jerky. Turned off waited turned back on, while lights were on car felt to be running fine. Slightly off sounding idle. Dtc showed multiple misfires and error codes with a recommendation to replace fuel injectors. Dealer was surprised given relatively low milage (109000 miles) for this issue to occur.

The vehicle displays inaccurate fuel level and miles-to-empty information, creating a safety risk because the driver cannot reliably determine how much fuel is actually available or how far the vehicle can be driven. The infotainment system also freezes and carplay frequently becomes unusable. There was also a key recognition / “key not detected” malfunction. These issues have occurred in a new vehicle and remain unresolved after multiple dealer visits.

The vechicle was in an accident were it went off the road into grassy area. Hitting several street signs and a power transformer. The safety features automatic braking or lane keep assistance did not engage. The driver tried to brake the car did not stop nor did it seem to slow down by the distance it traveled. The car is possiblity a total loss, currently under review by insurance company. There were 2 passenger in the vechicle during the accident. Driver and toddler in the rear. Police did come out to the scene. Insurance representative are going through thier claim process. The accident was 2 days ago. All safety feature prior to the accident were opperating proper to my knowledge. I would like to request the black box from the accident to gather more information on what may have happened. Insuarance companies is not going to obtain it.

My 2017 Honda crv VIN [xxx] ac compressor has completely seized/locked up. This has caused: (1) loss of engine power while driving with ac on, (2) burning smell from engine compartment, (3) loud grinding noise. A seized ac compressor risks snapping the serpentine belt while driving, which causes sudden loss of power steering — a direct safety hazard at highway speeds. This is a known Honda defect covered under TSB 23-040, yet the dealer denied warranty coverage claiming the compressor failure is unrelated to the shaft seal defect. The root cause was never addressed despite my car being serviced in may 19 2023 and they charged for discharge hose and freeon filling for 900$. The same day Honda extended warranty of parts via TSB 23-040. I feel Honda dealership never found the root cause and beating around the bush. Driver's side window would not go up or down. It was wet and rainy. Had the car 2 days. On day three which is sunny the driver side window worked correctly. Safety concern is that window won't work in an emergency situation if there is moisture or water involved.
