Consumer states left dash vent, rear louvers won't stay up without air blowing to keep it in up position. Dealer found tab on vent linkage broken. Dash assembly and vent replaced. Consumer states when car is cold, driver's side vent closes by itself, has to warm engine and get heat blowing through vent to stay up.

Owner stated the vehicle srs light came on and dealer said it was defective and driver's side airbag, which would have been inoperable, if the airbag was to deploy. Vehicle also experienced numberous other problems, such as fuse blown out, heater problems and electrial problem.

Defective windshield-2003 Hyundai Elantra GLS. There was a terrible glare from the sun hitting the windshield which made it extremely hard to judge the distance of objects. The dealer was notified and stated that the glare was a characteristic of the car. The vehicle experienced brake noise. The dealer did some work on the car but is was still noisy. The defroster took 15-20 minutes to clear the windows and heated mirrors. When it rained the water was on the inside the vehicle on the underside of the car door.
