When stoppibg or coming to full complete stop car seems to feel like it is goibg to stall out and kind of shimmery and shakes a little right before stopping also when starting from a complete stop it alot of the time feels like it is going to stall out as well. There is alot of engine noise as well that does not seem like it is a good thing.

I was driving my 2013 Hyundai Veloster turbo on a small road, as I pulled away from a stop sign I heard loud metallic grinding and scraping sounds, the vehicle lost power and I immediately pulled to the side of the road and turned the vehicle off. Checked under the vehicle and found oil spraying from the engine block. Vehicle was found to have a blown rod and a hold in the engine block and was towed to sussman Hyundai of willow grove PA where I was informed of recall 19v-204 #182. I was told by the service department that the vehicle needed a new engine due to the blown rod that left a hole in the engine block and it was likely that it would be covered under the recall. The vehicle stayed at the dealership for over a week while pictures were taken and sent to Hyundai corp, Hyundai declined to assist with the issue saying the vehicle was out of warranty. I contacted Hyundai motor America for further assistance, I was told to leave the vehicle at the dealership and was given case #15862961 Hyundai motor America has been very unresponsive. It's been over 3 weeks without any official notice. I was lucky that this issue didn't happen at higher speeds, I easily could've been hurt or killed due to the engine malfunction. Vehicle had 89k miles when the issue occurred.
