Tl the contact owns a 2013 Hyundai Veloster. The contact stated that the engine performed roughly and there was reduced engine power. In addition, the check engine indicator flashed. The vehicle stalled several times and was unable to restart immediately. The vehicle finally restarted and was taken to jenkins Hyundai of leesburg (9145 us-441, leesburg, FL 34788, (352) 815-2516). The dealer was unable to determine the cause of the engine stalling and stated that the vehicle was not included in a warranty campaign. The vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 19v204000 (electrical system, engine); although, the failure was similar. The dealer provided an extensive diagnosis and determined that the entire engine, turbo, radiator assembly, pump assembly and other unknown repairs were needed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer provided a case number and was to follow-up with the dealer and contact. The approximate failure mileage was 56,000.
