The contact owns a 2003 Infiniti G35. The contact stated that the vehicle stalled and was difficult to restart. In addition, there was fuel leaking and the vehicle would not properly refuel. The check engine, the vdc, and the slip warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the fuel filler hose was cracked and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the camshaft sensor needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact referenced NHTSA campaign numbers: 03v455000 (engine and engine cooling) and 05v555000(fuel system, gasoline). The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.
