1 Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe problem

Failure Date: 03/08/2021

This Jeep has 90k miles on it. We noticed a very severe oil leak and discovered that oil was leaking out of the engine oil cooler filter housing adapter. After doing some research it was discovered that this is a very common part to malfunction. Oil is leaking on to the manifold and engine block. This could cause a fire if ignored. The replacement part has been back-ordered and we are unable to drive the vehicle.

2 Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe problem

Failure Date: 12/27/2020

Oil leaks around the filter housing. Could lead to a fire on the manifold or exhaust. They have been having a lot of problems with filter housing failures. Engine could fail in cold weather.

3 Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe problem

Failure Date: 02/24/2020

My 2015 Jeep only has just over 45k miles on it and exhaust manifold cracked. It caused a burning smell to enter my car when I had the air on.

4 Manifold/header/muffler/tail Pipe problem

Failure Date: 01/01/2015

I have had the vehicle in several times for check engine light. I has been on for the entire time I have had it. They have said it was intake manifold bolts loose and several program updates. This last time they said it was the fuel causing the problem. I have used 5 different fuels and the light stays on. There has been several problems with engine surging when I put it in reverse and at a stop light.
