1 Horn Assembly problem of the 2019 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 01/15/2021

Just purchased 2019 Jeep Cherokee trailhawk this week. It has 27000 miles on it. Went to fill gas tank at gas station; Jeep wouldn't start. I had to use the remote start option to start while sitting in the Jeep which led the horn to blow continuously.

2 Horn Assembly problem of the 2019 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 09/21/2020

I suspect that someone is taking over my car using the obd2 port. I was at an appointment on Monday and around 7:00 pm I heard my car locked and I had my car already locked. When I returned to the car, the car radio screen was jumbled up and the car began to shake after u turned on the car. I had to turn the car off again in order to remove the scrambled icons on the screen. This has happened before since working at catalent in harmans MD. I had a couple of phone calls that occurred prior to the incident happening which was about 10 minutes prior to my car locking or the indication of it locking when the horn went off twice. My car was parked right in front of the building located in rosedale maryland, 8767 philadelphia rd suite c, zip code 21237. The car has been feeling weird ever since while driving. When working at catalent, I have 3 police reports of people who had gotten into my car on multiple accounts even breaking items in my car. This has never happened until I started working with this job. I am no longer working there now due to hostile working conditions and was fired due to having negative time. In which those times required me to have my vehicle repaired and doctor's appointments that I utilized pto time and was approved by the supervisor. I have a lawyer speaking with catalent lawyer as well as eeoc cases and a worker's compensation case due to a worker allowing a metal 10 foot ladder fall on my back and I was told to complete a near miss report. I was out for a month and upon my return, I of course had a vehicle issue and told my supervisor when I would return. I told him that a I would rerun on Wednesday and was fired on a Tuesday. This happened on July 27. And still, I suspect that they are still finding ways to sabotage my vehicle.

5 Horn Assembly problem of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 12/01/2014

I purchased my brand new 2014 Jeep Cherokee with 30 miles. After about 1500 miles it began shifting very hard in low gears jerking , it red lines extremely hard to where it will jolt the Jeep and when I come to a stop it would begin raise rpms and accelerate. It would scare me senseless. I took it to the dealership they said that's how it performs and made me leave. 400 miles later the transmission completely blew out going 50 in la traffic. It was on back order for a month. Since then I have taken it in 8 times for the same problem a few times they have updated the tcm now they are saying there is no codes and they cannot duplicate it, even though it does it every single time. The Jeep will not know what gear to shift and leave me stranded in intersections before it shifts and peels out. When I break it'll pick up speed it is extremely unsafe and unreliable. Jeep has no fix for it and will not buy it back nor compensate me in anyway this isn't right and they should be forced to buy these be back. Last weekend I took it on a trip going downhill at 60 mph 2000 rpm I tapped the break and the Jeep revved to 5000 rpms also my horn is he hardest horn to push ever it does not work. The service department said its a little harder than normal but they cannot replace it since it doesn't give a code . Everyone and their mother is concerned and complains about this issue. One day this thing is going to get me in a wreck. I paid good money for this vehicle I just want something safe and reliable for my family. I wish Jeep Chrysler however it is would just do the right thing.

11 Horn Assembly problem of the 2001 Jeep Cherokee

Failure Date: 10/26/2006

Horn failure. This is not the first occasion of this event. The interstate traffic was at stopped due to a wreck and a semi truck attempted to make a lane change. I attempted to signal that the lane was occupied by blowing the car horn and after pressing on the horn logo in the center of the steering wheel nothing happened. I tried multiple times and still nothing. Luckily the driver of the semi finally looked and stopped before pushing my car into the center concrete divider. It is a very frustrating feeling to see an impending cash and to have no means to alert other drivers.
