The contact owns a 2017 Jeep Compass. The contact stated that while her son was driving approximately 15-20 mph, the vehicle stalled and lost electrical power. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact's son was unable to restart the vehicle after several attempts. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic and was diagnosed and determined that the battery fuse had failed. The battery fuse was replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.
