Suspension Noise problems of the 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Two problems related to suspension noise have been reported for the 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Suspension Noise problem

Failure Date: 10/13/2015

Excessive engine knocking with power loss and abnormal driving capabilites. Sounds like bad internals. Suspension causes "death wobble" at cruising speeds. Engine happens anytime engine is running producing large quantities of smoke from tailpipe.

2 Suspension Noise problem

Failure Date: 03/17/1999

There is alot pulling within the suspension. Also, a lot of noise is coming from the transmission. Consumer thinks transmission is falling out, and the vehicle stalls.
