The contact owns a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. While the vehicle was parked, there was puddle of fluid under the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the condenser leaked. The condenser, air conditioner, and transmission fluid needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 83,000.
Driving on an interstate freeway with adaptive cruise control activated. Cruise control deactivated on its own, mil illuminated and the transmission began slipping severely resulting in drastic loss of power and vehicle speed in interstate traffic.
