The check engine light illuminated so the contact pulled off the road and contacted the dealer. The contact stated that the failure persisted. Now a total of 4 times the contact stated that while driving approximately 30-35 mph the vehicle's gear shifter would slip from drive into neutral after driving a short distance. The contact stated that they would have to pull over to the side of the road to change the gear. The contact mentioned that during this time when the vehicle's transmission has slipped into neutral the display on the dashboard would be a white line with two red dots instead of the "n" for neutral.
