The contact owns a 2022 Jeep grand wagoneer. The contact stated that the sun visor failed to stay in place and was flopping around while driving at various speeds. The sun visor was inoperable and was a distraction to the driver. The contact stated that while making a sharp left turn at 10 mph, the contact's vision became obstructed by the sun and the vehicle crashed into another vehicle on the opposite side of traffic. The air bags failed to deploy upon impact. The vehicle was towed to a dealer, and the front-end damage was repaired. The contact stated that the driver’s and passenger’s side third row headrests failed to remain upright and flopped backwards. The contact stated that the touch screen used to control the a/c temperature, located in both the front end and rear of the vehicle, glitched and change the temperature to an undesired level. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for repair of the screens under warranty; however, the dealer only repaired the front screen. The manufacturer was notified of the failures but offered no assistance.
