I bought a 2006 Jeep Liberty4x4 3rd day it was towed back due to transmission problems. Now at 30,000 miles I'm having the same issues plus the gear keeps skipping. I brought it back 3 times now and because it doesn't make the cunking noise the few minutes they have it they say there's nothing wrong and the gears are supposed to skip. Hmmm new one on me. They also say there's no reports on the transmission problems hmm plenty here or am I seeing things. It printed them all out so I can go back and show them the complaints. Can't deny what's on black and white now can they?.

The transmission is leaking and the car has only 4,000 miles on it. Also, the rear wheels are making a loud squeal when driving the car for the first time of the day. Dealer said wheel noise is due to a needed rebuild of disc brakes and the manufacturer is aware of the problem. I am on a waiting list to get my brakes fixed. However, the tranny should not be leaking at only 4,000 miles.

Transmission is making clanking vibration/noise when slowing to a stop. The vehicle is not even 1 year old and has been to two different dealers for resolution. Problem still present.
