Recall on battery, no remedy, can't charge my Jeep, can't park in the garage, mpg is down to 18 (typically stays around 24-25 in winter) dealerships are not helpful, Jeep is not communicating as they should. Recall b9a. I also believe there is an issue with the emissions from this, my check engine light has came on twice since I have had the Jeep (bought new in 6/21) can't charge the Jeep or use remote start until reset. Dealership said there was a reading stating there was a leak in the gas tank, couldn't find the leak so reset the engine light.

2021 Jeep Wrangler. Consumer writes in regards to fuel tank issue. The consumer stated while driving, the vehicle began smoking and went into limp mode. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who hadn't determined the cause of the failure after 6 weeks. The vehicle had 2,845 miles.

I have been dealing with the fuel shutoff problem since it was new. When the fuel is being put in the tank the fuel will not shut off. The fuel squirts back out of the tank, approx 1/2 gallon. It is a safety issue that has a recall hose on the Jeep jk models which are up to model 2008 0r 2009 which has been adressed. This problem affects all Jeep jk models. I have found a hose that is the replacement part but the dealer will not sell it to me saying its a recall part. I want this part so I can fix my Jeep. I am a certified mercedes benx tech and want to fix it or take it to have that part put on.

When fueling vehicle overflow pours out of the tank and on to the vehicle and ground when filled. I've owned the vehicle for 14 months and has been doing this since purchased.

There is no safety stop on the fuel line. Every time the tank is filled it overflows spilling gas everywhere. This is not new, but finally reporting it. There are tons of people complaining about this on the internet.

Every time I fill up my gas tank, no matter what gas station, I always get about a cup of gas that spits back out of the filler port. The nozzle always clicks off but the gas just keeps coming.

Vehicle with approximately 58000 miles was parked in driveway. When turning the key to on, a hissing sound and a strong smell of gasoline came from the bottom of the Jeep. Turned off vehicle, and exited the car to see a two foot wide puddle of gasoline under the car. . Repair shop indicated failure of pressurized gas line coming from top of the gas tank. If an ignition source had been present the car would have caught on fire. Vehicle had been driven approximately 14 miles that day with no issues, the failure in the gas line was sudden and complete.

Fuel overflows when the tank is filled. The auto-shutoff doesn't work. It happens every time I fill the tank, no matter what gas station. This is a safety and environmental hazard.

Every time I fill up my fuel tank, 1/2 a second after the pump shuts off, a significant of fuel comes rushing out on to the ground.

For the last two months, whenever I attempt to fill my car with gasoline, shortly after I begin fueling the gas comes spraying back at me. In order to fill my tank, I must barely squeeze the nozzle such that the gas trickles out. Still if I don't perfectly stop and start at the right moment it will overflow. I called the dealership to see whether I was doing something wrong or if there was a recall, and they informed me it is a known and common issue but there is no recall. I went online after to check the Wrangler forums and it is, in fact, a very common complaint for which there is no recall.

Every time we fill the gas tank, fuel spews/spills out at the end of pumping the gas.

When refueling at any gas station when the tank reaches a certain point the gasoline comes back out spraying over the side of vehicle and on me leaving gasoline on the ground and myself covered in gas.

When I fill up tank of gas it overflows, does not shut off pump. Gas overflows onto fender, bumper, tire and ground. This is a safety issue. Not to mention a waste of gas and smelly hands all day after cleaning gas off of fender and bumper. Have previously filed a complaint but to date no TSB or recall to address this safety issue.

When I fill the gas tank, the station pump clicks off the nozzle then gas spits back out of my tank all over the side of my Jeep and onto the ground.

Immediately after completing work from the air bag recall my vehicle began to accelerate on its own. I would hold a steady throttle and it would all of a sudden speed up. It would last for a few to several seconds and slow down to a point less than the steady throttle. When I would use cruise control the vehicle would vary in speed by five to seven miles per hour. This was definitely a change from the way it operated prior to the recall. I used injector cleaner through several tanks, but the problem persisted. The condition was limited to depressing the accelerator, but has worsened to the point of revving the engine with the clutch depressed and no pressure on the accelerator. I had to cut the engine off due to this uncontrollable rev. I contacted the dealership to inquiry of any such issues following the air bag recall, but before I could complete my question, I was told, "no. " maybe, this issue is coincidence, but it is truly a safety concern. I have searched the net for similar incidents, and it does not appear to be very prevalent. The vehicle currently has just over 68k miles, and zero incidents/problems prior to the airbag recall. I believe the steering wheel is removed when the airbag issue is corrected, and for this reason I question if the issues are unintentionally related.

While driving the Jeep the digital fuel level gauge went from half tank to empty. Refueled the tank and the gauge remained on empty. A week later the fuel gauge went back up to full but when you turn the car off and back on, it return to fuel level low. It has been like this for one month with frequent refill of fuel. 09/24/19 I noticed a huge stain under the right back side on my Jeep and could smell the strong odor of gas. I took it to the dealership I purchased it from and they checked it the whole day and stated nothing was showing of a gas leak or could smell the gas. Brought my vehicle home unsure because I had video of how you could hear the fuel gurgling from the tank. Today 11/09/19 again the fuel is leaking I have video showing how the fuel is going everywhere while the truck is parked and had been parked for 24 hours. Something needs to be done. It's scary to drive to and from work in the vehicle. I was first told from the dealership not to overfill my tank which I dont nor have I ever. I know something is not right with this gas tank. Every time I fill up the fuel tank leaks during normal driving condition and especially while making turns or if parked it will leak in the parking spot as the day gets warmer. There is also a very strong fuel smell during this times and very noticeable by everyone in the Jeep or around it.

Tl the contact owns a 2009 Jeep Wrangler. While fueling the vehicle, fuel spilled onto the ground. The vehicle was taken to walker Chrysler Dodge Jeep and ram (5757 coliseum boulevard, alexandria, la 71301, (318) 618-0103) where it was diagnosed that the fuel filler neck and fuel tank needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that the 2007 and 2008 Jeep Wranglers received the manufacturer warranted replacement for the fuel neck and the fuel tank; however, the 2009 Wrangler was not included. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 90,000.

Every time I refill my gas tank it overflows all over the ground. This has happened since I owned the car in 2010 to most recently yesterday on 3/12/19. Based on production there are more the 2. 1 million Jeep Wranglers on the road according to production numbers. It seems that this is a decent environmental issue if it occurs on most if not all jks. Any jk owner I have talked to has this same issue. Chrysler should be held responsible for this failed aspect of the vehicle.

Currently I have two issues I believe my 2018 Wrangler jl to be experiencing. The first is a constant clicking noise coming from the undercarriage of the vehicle, mainly in the rear. This occurs at slow speeds (10mph or less). The dealer replaced my rear axle but to no avail. The second issue is that I do not believe I am able to fill my fuel tank to the proper capacity. ( have a 4-door jl) from 'low mileage' warning to full, typically I get about 16 gallons.

2011 Jeep sahara Wrangler refueling problem. Refueling geyser overflow problem of gasoline at where nozzle enters vehicle. Requires manually clicking off handle when fuel tank is completely full overflowing gasoline on ground, Jeep, and self, (fuel on hands and shoes). This overflow occurred January 25, 2019, February 11, 2019, and March 10, 2019. We are the original owners from berglund Jeep Dodge ram dealership and the service advisor indicated repairs would not be covered April 3, 2019.

When refueling, regardless of fill level the gas will not flow into tank properly on level ground, and spews out all over the ground/car/person. It will not take fuel in any position. It takes about 10-15 minutes to refuel from empty. It will take gas until the filler neck fills up and then you have to stop and let it drain into tank. You have to repeat this over and over again until full.

Attempted to fill up vehicle with gas. Gas is ejected from filler spout and down the side of Jeep. Only happens when attempting to fill the gas tank completely up.

When refueling, the gas does not shut off and spills out of the tank until user shuts off. This happens each time you refuel and you are unable to fill up to shut off. I have spilled gasoline, on vehicle, clothing, ground, gas pump, etc. This is a pretty serious issue and I could not find a recall. I don't think this should be ignored. I had to add a date below, just the latest time it has been an issue. It has occurred multiple times to myself and my spouse.

I took my Jeep to the dealership to take a look at gas tank sensor, I heard that was a recall, everytime I fill my tank, the gas nozzle doesn't stop and you see gas spilling all over. The dealership said he fixes as its shown on their dignose. Haven't drove since then, today I drove it and it had 1/4 gas in the tank, I stopped by the gastation to fill up the tank, found out that it doesn't allow any more gas in the tank and gas spilling all over again, the gas gauge is working along with fuel warning signal, its so weird and unsafe.

When fililng the fuel tank, no matter which gas station I use, the tank overflows when full, spilling gasoline before the pump shutoff can activate. This is stationary, turned off, and level. I've owned this car since Feb 2015 and it is a highly repeatable problem.
