Jeep Wrangler owners have reported 652 problems related to other fuel system (under the other fuel system category). The most recently reported issues are listed below. Also please check out the statistics and reliability analysis of Jeep Wrangler based on all problems reported for the Wrangler.
My 2018 Jeep Wrangler jl sport is experiencing multiple premature engine failures that present a serious safety risk: •vehicle overheats while driving. •recurrent misfire on cylinder #5 (dtc p0305). •white exhaust smoke with a sweet coolant smell on cold start. •coolant loss despite recent refill. •oil contamination with metallic particles found during inspection. •valvetrain noise from the right bank, suspected intake camshaft wear. These conditions create a risk of engine seizure or sudden stalling while driving, which could cause a crash. Manufacturer awareness: Jeep/mopar has issued bulletins acknowledging these exact problems, including: •TSB mc-11018482-0001 (may 2025): intake camshaft/rocker wear causing misfires (p0301–p0306). •customer satisfaction notification zd8 (2023): coolant inlet tube fastener issue causing coolant leaks and overheating. My vehicle’s symptoms directly align with these known manufacturer issues. Despite this, Jeep/mopar has denied goodwill repair coverage. Safety concern: this defect is not just a performance issue — it creates a high probability of sudden engine stall or seizure, endangering me, my passengers, and other drivers. I am requesting NHTSA investigate premature engine failures on the Jeep Wrangler jl (3. 6l pentastar) and require Jeep/mopar (stellantis) to address this safety hazard.

There was a crack, and subsequent leak, in the fuel line to the engine. My safety, and my passengers safety was absolutely put at risk as that could have ignited a fire at any moment. I took the vehicle to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the problem. No warning lamps appeared, however, the smell of gas was very strong in and near the vehicle.

While driving to an appointment on 11 August 2025 the yellow cel light came on and the Jeep Wrangler 4xe stopped operating in hybrid mode. A few miles later the Jeep went into limp mode with a red turtle, red wrench, and red battery light. Pulled into the left center turn lane to allow faster traffic to pass and then made a left turn off of a busy 4-lane highway. I then proceeded down the hill and at the next traffic light I was turning right when the Jeep stopped and the gas engine completely shut down and the Jeep stopped moving halfway through the intersection. Putting the vehicle in park, I attempted to restart the vehicle while it sat in the middle of the intersection but it wouldn’t restart. I then turned on my flashers and exited the vehicle so I could call a tow truck. After the vehicle was towed to the nearest Jeep dealership I learned two days later that the hybrid battery pack had failed and it needed to be replaced. As of 18 September and the vehicle is still at the dealership awaiting authorization from the Jeep engineering team so the technician at the dealership can order a special part!.

On August 4, 2025, while being operated in an ordinary and careful manner, the newly-purchased vehicle experienced an episode of sudden unintended acceleration, lurching forward uncontrollably and slamming into a tree. Then, as the driver attempted to back up, the vehicle charged forward and struck the tree again. The vehicle's driver airbag never deployed despite sustaining two head-on collisions which ultimately rendered the vehicle a total loss. The vehicle's manufacturer hired an "independent" inspector to inspect the vehicle. They found "no manufacturing defects" and blamed "human error" for the incident.

Purchased lease on 11/22/2024 on 12/23/2024 had engine light on was told there was condensation on the oil. So I had the oil changed. On 3/14/2025 my engine light was on again and I noticed the vehicle was not holding a electric charge on 4/3/2025 went back again because engine light was on and they replaced a componant for the hybrid charge 07/30/2025 while driving in gas mode (because the vehicle will not charge) I had red turtle and red wrench along with check engine light. . At this point the Jeep slowed down immensely in traffic and I had to pull over. Once I turned it off it seemed fine untill it happend again going up a steep hill and the Jeep just stalled and traffic from behind almost hit me. This Jeep is not safe I only have 7,800 miles on it brand new and im going back to the dealer on 8/11/2025 to have them update my system? I feel like this is just a bandaide and this car should be recalled or bought back Jeep.
I am the owner of a 2020 Jeep Wrangler jl with the 2. 0l turbo engine, and I am writing to report a fuel leak issue that I believe is related to recall y10 / NHTSA campaign 21v-665, which involves the high-pressure fuel supply line (part #68297642ad). My vehicle is experiencing a strong fuel smell and visible fuel leak, and a technician confirmed the failure of the fuel line. However, my VIN does not currently show as included in the recall, and I have been told the repair is not covered under warranty. Given that my Jeep has the same engine, same part number, and identical symptoms described in the official recall — I’m requesting one of the following: that the dealer be allowed to inspect the fuel line’s date code and replace it under recall y10 if it falls within the affected range, or that Jeep/stellantis cover the cost of the repair as a goodwill safety-related assistance, since the failure occurred outside the normal warranty but is consistent with the recall defect. I take safety very seriously, and I hope Jeep does too. Please let me know what documentation or diagnostics you need from my service provider to support this request.
The instrument panel cluster that shows the speed, odometer, and fuel levels has been sporadically 'going out' while driving. On Friday 7/18, it went out completely and did not come back on. This affects safety of driving in that I have no idea how fast I'm driving or fuel levels. I have to rely on iphone capabilities for speed, which is not as accurate. The problem has been inspected by a mechanic and he indicated that the instrument panel cluster would need to be replaced at a cost of close to $2,000. He indicated that there was a recall on 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler models involving a safety issue with the ipc and that it may experience a short circuit and fail, potentially causing the display to go blank and hindering the driver's ability to see critical information like speed and warning lights. Recall# 24v652000 indicated this failure could increase the risk of a crash. Per the mechanic recall info was sent October 2024 yet I did not receive anything. Per the site my VIN# is not included in this recall. I believe this is the exact issue that other vehicles were called and this particular vehicle should be included in this ipc recall.

I own a 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe unlimited, which has undergone three manufacturer recalls and two separate service (one handle during a recall visit) visits due to charging failures. The recalls were related to defrost system malfunctions, sudden loss of motor power, and high-voltage battery concerns. Each of these issues was addressed solely through **dealer-installed software updates**—updates that could not be completed over the air. These recalls and service visits highlight a troubling pattern: the vehicle’s core systems—including the bpcm, idcm, pim, tcm, and hcp—are deeply interconnected and dependent on one another. So far, my vehicle has required a total of * software updates**, with some systems needing multiple revisions. Most recently, Jeep addressed a “not charging” problem by once again performing a software update—this time affecting **five of the seven systems previously updated during recalls**. Despite the problem originating from their software architecture, Jeep charged me **$200 for the update**, even though it stemmed from an issue caused by their failed over-the-air deployment strategy. These recurring failures are not isolated incidents—they represent a systemic flaw within the vehicle’s hybrid management and safety systems. Relying on repeated software patches to resolve critical defects is not only unsustainable—it’s creating **unsafe driving conditions** and placing an unfair burden on the owner.

The vehicle experienced multiple serious fuel system failures, including a failed fuel injector and high-pressure fuel pump. After these components were replaced, it was confirmed that fuel was still entering the engine crankcase. At no point did the vehicle trigger a “check engine” light, oil dilution warning, low oil pressure alert, or any hybrid/electric powertrain. This represents a critical safety & reliability issue. Fuel dilution of engine oil can: severely degrade lubrication, increase crankcase pressure, and/or lead to internal engine failure or fire the lack of any warning or diagnostic code suggests either: a software calibration issue in the ecm/bcm that failed to detect the problem, a sensor failure, and/or a defect in the onboard diagnostic system itself. This could indicate a broader defect affecting the safety of the 4xe platform and request investigation. This failure delayed necessary service and put both vehicle and occupants at risk.
This was the third time the vehicle ceased with 1/8 tank of gas left. These instances result in the gas light, engine light, and battery light to turn on and do not let the vehicle move into neutral, which has been unsafe as the vehicle shuts down somewhat unexpectedly and has taken place in the middle of the road without the option to push the vehicle off to the side.
I have been working with multiple mechanics to diagnose an intermittent and unpredictable stalling issue with my 2015 Jeep Wrangler jk rubicon unlimited, VIN 1c4bjwfg9fl668657. I have conducted the following repairs to attempt to fix the issue: 1. Rebuilt transmission 2. Replaced throttle body 3. Replaced pcv 4. Replaced crankshaft sensor 5. Replaced camshaft sensor 6. Replaced fuel pump 7. Replaced fuel pump fuse 8. Replaced fuel pump relay fuse mechanic and I have traced the problem to a likely fault in the tipm. Due to unpredictability of stalling this has become a safety issue as the car will stall in traffic. Most often between 35-40 mph and below 2000 rpm. . . This is always while driving and is unsafe for both me and my fellow motorists. Most recent date is noted later in this form. If requested, I can provide receipts for professional repairs noted above, and receipts for parts I have purchased to replace myself.

The gas indicator indicated that I had 35 miles left to empty, it showed an eighth of a tank still available but completely shut down on me on the freeway. The car completely shut down to the point that I was not even able to pop it in neutral to help roll it to a safer place further off the highway. Fine, the gas gauge is wrong, but not being able to put it in neutral for my own safety and the safety of others is unacceptable.
While driving on a highway at the 55 mph speed limit, the vehicle suddenly lost power and I was only able to travel at around 40 mph. The incident happened at a busy time on this two-lane highway and it caused traffic to back up behind me and for people to pass me until I could turn at the next intersection. I was only a mile or so away from my residence and I was able to make it home under the reduced power. The 4xe battery was at <1% and I was driving in hybrid mode at the time of the incident. I recharged the battery overnight and have driven it only a few miles since, with no further incidents. I purchased the vehicle used 2 weeks ago with under 17k miles on the odometer. I have not reported the incident to the dealership from which I purchased the vehicle, as they are not a Jeep dealership and I doubt that they would have a clue as to the cause of the problem.
The engine began sounding like a diesel and pushing the gas pedal made the car surge/lurch. Then, while driving in rush hour traffic, the car went into what I now know is called “limp mode” where I could not accelerate and I received a warning that told me to pull the car over.
I am experiencing a recurring issue with my vehicle’s gas cap. The check engine light continues to come on due to the gas cap, and this has happened multiple times. This is the third occurrence this year, and despite ensuring that the cap is properly secured, the issue persists. I am concerned that this may indicate a defect in the gas cap or an issue with the sealing mechanism. I would appreciate any assistance in determining whether this is part of a known recall or if there is a recommended fix.
As you were fueling the vehicle it will spit fuel back at you and poor fuel all over the ground and me, many people have this problem there is a recall from 2007 to 2008 but not 2009 through 2010 even though they have the same exact very dangerous issue.

The Jeep was taken to the dealership under a software battery recall and the software was updated. One week later while driving at approximately 55mph, there was a sudden jerk in the propulsion system. The car shifted abruptly from electric to gas motor and the electric mode was unavailable. The vehicle jerked and hesitated at every acceleration and deceleration causing unsafe operating conditions . The check engine light was on I returned it to the dealer immediately and was told that the high voltage hybrid battery was bad. I'm pretty convinced from my and other experiences that the software up date was not a remedy to previous incidents reported to you. It was a software patch that determined if the battery was bad.
There is a problem with my electrical system. I have brought it in to Jeep several times, and they have brushed it off. In July 2024 I was driving and the car shut off in the middle of traffic. I was able to come to a stop in a turning lane, but it was a dangerous, scary situation. When I took it to the dealership, they said they could not replicate it and sent me on my way. In March 2024 I was stranded at night at a dog park when my car wouldn't start. There was a message stating that the electrical system needed to be serviced. I had it towed to the dealership and they said it was just the engine battery and an issue with a sensor that was put in upside down. In October 2024 I received a notice not to charge my battery or park it in or near buildings. There was no fix. Then, they had software update that was supposed to fix internal problems with the batteries. I asked for a new battery without the issues, and they said no. The scariest, and biggest problem I'm having, though, is that intermittently I lose power when trying to accelerate into traffic. This has led to many scary incidents of other drivers nearly hitting me and being very upset. The most recent incident was on Wednesday, February 12. I was driving on highway 12 in the morning on my way to work and a car pulled in front of me. To avoid a collision, I swerved to the left lane and tried to accelerate to get out of the way of the car behind me and my car would not accelerate. I had to take my foot off the gas, then push again to get it to go. It was terrifying and dangerous. The car behind me nearly hit me, and they honked and were very upset. This situation happens probably once or twice a month. I had my car in the shop to address these issues and I had a rental car and Jeep said they would work with the dealer to repair. They never did. Never called me back, and now they are refusing my rental reimbursement. I don't have anymore money to pay for another so I'm stuck.

Had gas leak on lower part of engine leaking gas from the high pressure fuel line took it to a dealer ro so the repairs Jan 29th 2025 and my Jeep is still not right . . It had no mechanical problems at all except the leak and now they have had to replace the reservoir for coolant due to broken damaged line and the vehicle has no power at all since the dealership has had possession of my vehicle . . . It is the 2. 0 liter turbo.
While braking (in hybrid mode, with max regen braking on), the car begins to lurch forward with significant force as it comes to a stop. This seems to be an issue with max regen, as acceleration and braking is overall much smoother with the feature off. This has happened sometimes before, but is difficult to replicate on demand. No warning lights on dash, and has not been confirmed by a dealer. There were no warning lights or messages, and has happened since purchase of the vehicle in June 2022. This instance was so severe that the vehicle almost crashed into the house, as I was pulling into the driveway and braking. Upon researching online, others have reported this issue, with some involved in motor vehicle crashes because of it. Clearly a safety issue that requires attention.
This vehicle is notorious for a common issue yet that same issue which has not been recalled is the reason my engine blew on the highway and Jeep has failed to notify owners of this issue or give some sort of reimbursement. My Jeep was cruising just fine when my engine suddenly blew, it was well maintained and taken care of. Despite the great care the oil housing unit which many others have complained about cracked leaking all the oil in a matter of minutes. This essential piece failing and releasing all the oil caused my engine to blow. Jeep is notorious for having a plastic oil housing unit with no heat shield since it is inbetween both engine bays. Having the unit where it is while creating the piece out of plastic seems like a text-book way to have catastrophic failure and further profit off complete engine failure. This material design flaw has now cost me nearly $800 come to find out I need a total engine replacement now which will be around $4000. This is completely unacceptable a vehicle was allowed to be put on the road with such a catastrophic design flaw and physically endangered me when this happened. In the attached files you can see the pooling of oil, I also have official reference from a local auto shop and screenshots of multiple online complaints.

The components in the n28 / NHTSA 13v-234 recall did exactly what they were recalled for. My check engine light came on a few months back so I brought it to be diagnosed at a parts store and diagnostic scanner listed p codes for possible O2 sensor. I brought my 2013 Jeep Wrangler sport into a Jeep dealership(#1) in Friday, November 1st, 2024 and upon the first inspection, they found a couple of issues and printed an quote for $127. 33, I signed off on that quote. Then another hour or 2 passed by, they brought me a revised quote for over $600, which I was still okay with and signed off to have repaired. Then they offered to bring me home after hours of sitting in the lobby. The next day, I get a link to review the revised inspection and it was over $2400. The engine charge was over $1900 caused by the n28 recall. I asked them to just do the recall because I could not afford it the remaining. Upon looking into forums, documents & diagrams researching online specific to the n28 recall, I reached out to the manufacturer quite a few times by phone and email. I was working with someone who I thought would be helpful, since he suggested I call a different Jeep dealership (#2) service dept. And speak with a mechanic there. I spoke with a mechanic at #2 and sent #1's inspection report, and #2 dealership's mechanic confirmed the issues are connected & caused by the recall. The manufacture's contact (that I thought was more helpful than the ones I spoke with prior) was emailing me. I reported back to the contact on November 14th, 2024 what dealership #2 said and he never responded. I followed up for a response on November 21st, 2024. I still have no response as of January 30th, 2025.
Since the purchase of this vehicle brand new, it has been back to the dealer 14+ times for the battery/hybrid components. It causes "a fire hazard" and I am instructed to not park it in my own garage, near other vehicles and it'd be best to not drive it. This has happened more times than not since owning this vehicle and the problems persist. Right now it has another battery/heater issue and it isn't functioning properly, yet I am told to drive it anyway as the parts are on back order with no date/fix in sight and they do not want to provide a loaner indefinitely. Meantime, I do not feel safe, it's always at risk of catching on fire whether parked or in drive. Many of these same vehicles have caught fire and people are battling Chrysler/Jeep daily. When is the safety entity going to step up and force a buyback for the safety of the owners/passengers? I have a $70000 vehicle that does not function properly and is unsafe to be on the roads or parked anyplace.
I had just left my home and got up to about 20-25 mph when my Jeep Wrangler willy’s 4xe suddenly and abruptly came to a full stop causing the tires to lock up as well and screech to a stop then it shut down and I had to restart it. It jolted my upper body and head forward and could’ve been much more dangerous if I were on a busy road or if anyone were driving behind me. I took it to my local dealership and they were able to recreate the issue after driving it and it shut off just as it did for me. They brought it in and seem to have primarily done some software update but didn’t express much confidence in the repair. They just said there were no dct’s but there was some software updates and that should fix it. They also claimed there were no recalls present on the vehicle which is even more scary. So the only way there fixing this if they even are fixing it is it already happened to you and put you in danger.
Digital display that shows speed and fuel level stops working and goes black while driving. Happened in 2024 and the display was replaced at my cost. New display experienced the same blackout in January 2025. Manufacturer is unable to deliver a new replacement display to their dealership to fix the vehicle. It has been almost 5 months without any resolution in sight. Other owners who have used my carwash have mentioned similar experience.
2023 vehicle no problems until 95b safety recall was performed. Warning light low air next day. Two wks after recall serv. And less than 4-6 months after reg. Maint. & oil change the check engine light came on upon start. Checked and the black coolant reservoir the caps dip stick was void of fluid I was told. Called dealer to advise. Visited dealership the head mechanic dx that the gas cap seal is bad. The check engine light off and not the low to empty coolant. Complaint is the warning light panel. The electrical wires exposed hanging broken small panel on the passengers side of the rearview mirror. Noticed after pickup from dealership. This was addressed with service depart. These panel, coolant, panel broke handing wires, gas cap seal are all issues after recall services. I believe it is unlikely just electrical issues that occurred when it was recently in for the battery recall requiring overnight parking. It was left overnight as they needed to know if it would catch fire. I was not informed if it was necessary as I’ve read to test drive it on electric before it was returned to me. The advisor was in days off happened to be in and was pleasant but I felt rushed. I was given the paper to sign and just told all is well, period. Broken panel part with electrical wires hanging out of rearview mirror. Gas cap seal that is now faulty setting of warning check engine light but not the low coolant? no explanation for damaged panel part and reason for messing with the wires. Concerns are engine, electrical and panel failure. Engine should not have issue with coolant. It never should’ve gotten to that point. The fact that there was low to no coolant as the dip stick didn’t register any. It’s a solid black reservoir not able to visibly check for coolant. I find it’s a safety issue, a mechanical issue. The head mechanic is saying that we would’ve never known about coolant needed had it not been for the only 2 yr old gas cap that leaves engine warning light on.
Our vehicle experiences loss of motive power as well as a complete disconnect from the battery. All diagnostics have shown that physical battery connections are good. We have been left on the side of the road with the inability to drive the vehicle above 20 mph. It is extremely dangerous when moving through an intersection or driving on the highway. We get a sudden warning lamp of a battery, charging cable, and turtle. They appeared 4 days after the purchase of the vehicle.
Sorry for my bad english, I am from quebec, in canada. On [xxx], our Jeep Wrangler 2023 burned. The 95b recall was process on December 19th 2024. The battery burned, no flames were visible, only chemical fire. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
After performing the 95b recall, within 20-30 miles of driving the cel came on. After powering off and back on the “service charging system” alert displayed on the dash. The vehicle seemed drivable however, and I proceeded to drive it to the dealership two days later which is about 4 miles away. In multiple instances when trying to accelerate from a stop the vehicle would not accelerate to more than 3-4 mph for multiple seconds leaving me stranded pulling out across traffic in the middle of an intersection waiting on the car to accelerate to a normal speed. Regardless of how much the accelerator was pressed the vehicle just rolled forward very, very slowly. Eventually, the vehicle lurched forward violently. Within this 3-4 mile drive this happened 3 times. The car remained jerky and unpredictable. I was fortunate to be driving at a low traffic time and made sure to allow extra space due to feeling the car acting slow after the cel appeared. Had I treated it normally during normal commute hours, I would have been hit by oncoming traffic. I left the vehicle at the dealership and am waiting on response.
Recent recall 95b was performed December 15th, 2024 on my Jeep 4xe. The vehicle passed the road test involved with the safety recall to detect a defective high voltage battery. On December 26th, within 100 miles of the recall test being performed, the vehicle cruise control involuntarily shut off, check engine light illuminated and the vehicle lost power on the freeway. We were able to return home with the vehicle lurching while driving, having erratic acceleration from a stop and pushing through braking. The issues continued a few days later when delivering to the Jeep service center and the Jeep died in the service lane and had to be pushed the rest of the way to the service bay. The "fix'' that stellantis has provided seems to simply later detect the battery issue that the recall test was designed to detect under their care during the test procedure. There are numerous other 4xe owners that I am aware of that are having the same post-test failures and motive power losses in traffic soon after their vehicle 'passed' the battery test. This 'solution' is causing a dangerous situation for the owners and the general motoring public. The Jeep has since been reevaluated and determined that the battery that the recall was intended to detect is indeed defective and is being replaced.
I own a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe (VIN: [xxx] ) that has experienced multiple hybrid system failures since the week of purchase. Despite several major repairs, the issues persist — raising significant safety and reliability concerns. Timeline of major issues: •[xxx]: just two days after purchase, the vehicle was brought into the shop for hybrid system failure, requiring replacement of the high-voltage wiring harness and electric cooling heater. •shortly after, the check engine light returned (per service staff, likely another hybrid fault). I was unable to bring it in at the time, and the light later turned off on its own. •[xxx}: after overnight charging, the battery was dead and the vehicle wouldn’t start. My wife (a medical provider) had to leave work to assist, causing major disruptions to patient care, financial loss, and missed school for my son. •[xxx]: after another overnight charge, the vehicle again failed to start, with more difficulty getting it to run than before. •[xxx}: the vehicle was returned to the shop and required replacement of the hybrid powertrain chip and additional high-voltage wiring. These failures mirror the symptoms and component issues currently under investigation in recall 95b, yet my VIN does not show any open recalls, and I was never notified of any hybrid system defect. My vehicle has experienced the same hazardous failures and received the same repairs as affected vehicles. I am submitting this complaint because I believe my vehicle was improperly excluded from safety-related notifications and may be affected by a known, systemic hybrid defect. I am requesting that NHTSA include this case in its ongoing investigation into Jeep 4xe hybrid propulsion failures. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
The vehicle’s check engine light come on earlier this year and the electric motor/battery was not functioning properly. It was serviced in September and I was told by the dealership that the software update would resolve the issue. It did not. The vehicle was serviced again on 12/13/24 and I was told that it passed the 95b recall test but that the check engine light came back on. The dealership said they ran more tests and now the electric cooling/heating unit needs to be replaced but they won’t have the part for approximately 2 weeks. The electric cooling/heating unit is for controlling climate within the vehicle and should not affect its propulsion. While driving the vehicle the day after I picked it up from the dealership, I was nearly involved in what would’ve been a serious accident. I was turning at an intersection, but the vehicle lost motor function and would not accelerate, leaving me sitting in the intersection with traffic oncoming. Fortunately, after several seconds, the vehicle began to move with not much time to spare. This problem recurred throughout my drive returning home. I have not and will not drive the vehicle again until I am able to return to the dealership for a third time.
Wife was going to work. Started to notice difference in the feel of the drive. Then the check engine light came on. When she started to accelerate the vehicle jerks. When the vehicle is at a stop then accelerates the it takes about 5 seconds for the car to start moving. Today the vehicle turns on but can’t switch gears to put it in reverse or drive. Vehicle is a paper wait and the earliest time I can take in to a certified mechanic is 1 month. I’ve had multiple issues with this car. Death wobble, electric recalls. And a recall that stated part not available park your car not in your garage and don’t charge your hybrid…. How can this car be allowed on the streets with this many issues under 2 years.
What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Jeep 4xe: after coming to a complete stop or just slowing down and entering a lower gear, has a 1-2 second delay in the accelerator. Has caused tires to squeal when accelerator started to respond. Have almost caused accidents when becoming unresponsive as the vehicle will move forward but lose accelerator power. This happens infrequently and spontaneously which makes it impossible to plan for/ drive defensively against, cannot replicate or force it to happen. Vehicle can be inspected upon request. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? vehicle will move forward after stopping, such as an intersection, and suddenly does not increase for 1-2 seconds making me a hazard to traffic. This happens maybe 1-3x a week and is impossible to replicate. Have been almost rear ended many times as no brake lights appear when this happens. Have almost been t-boned by oncoming traffic because of the delay. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? no. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? vehicle has had engine repaired and inspected by dealership. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? no.
Loss of power. Vehicle went into limp mode. Codes p00af, p24b1 and p1db1. Vehicle only has 28,500 miles and is having constant electrical issues.
