1 Power Train problem of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 03/26/2026

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? -after the 68c recall update for the hv battery failures, the vehicle has not been able to consistently maintain or provide power due to the limitation of the battery introduced as part of the recall. This is most noticeable driving in electric mode below 60% charge. The throttle behavior is inconsistent and unpredictable due to the recent updated how was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? -I was merging onto a controlled access highway and unable to accelerate after pulling into the travel lane from the merging lane due to the limitations of the battery power. The engine did not respond in time to provide power to the vehicle. The occurrence of the loss of power is unpredictable. Some times the electric battery and motor can provide the necessary power, and in others it does not respond to the throttle demand at the same state of charge with no indication of the issue. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? -it has not yet has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? -it has not were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? -no warning lamps were provided.

2 Power Train problem of the 2022 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 03/24/2026

The issues lies in the hybrid systems electric only function. When climbing grades, the vehicle experiences severe power loss which can be felt by the driver and is displayed by the vehicle on the dashboard information cluster. Power output from the hybrid system drops to or below 50% output even when pressing the accelerator to maximum. This issue occurs almost every time climbing a steep grade regardless of exterior temps. After losing speed and power on a steep grade while working the accelerator to or near maximum application the engine is activated abruptly without warning and without the proper hybrid warm up sequence and causes startling shifting by the powertrain and jerks the vehicle. This behavior began after recall 68c was performed and hybrid battery replacement.

3 Power Train problem of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 03/22/2026

The vehicle is a 2018 Jeep Wrangler with a 3. 6l engine and approximately 124,000 miles. The engine has experienced a failure involving multiple components, including suspected head gasket failure, significant oil loss with no visible external leak, low oil pressure, and engine knocking. Diagnostic trouble codes p0365 and p06dd were present, indicating camshaft position sensor issues and oil pressure control failure. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. This condition creates a safety risk due to the potential for sudden engine failure and loss of power while driving, which could occur without warning and increase the risk of an accident. The problem has been confirmed by an independent repair facility, which identified low oil levels, coolant loss, and symptoms consistent with internal engine damage. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer. Prior to the failure, warning signs included a low oil pressure condition and engine performance changes. These symptoms developed rapidly over a short period of time. The vehicle is currently not safe to operate due to the risk of further engine damage or sudden failure.

4 Power Train problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 03/21/2026

I am submitting this complaint regarding a new safety incident involving my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe after completion of the repair associated with recall 68c. The recall 68c repair was completed on January 28, 2026. After that repair, the vehicle experienced new and serious operating failures. The vehicle repeatedly tripped my home charging circuit during charging attempts. In addition, the vehicle's electric mode malfunctioned despite the battery showing charge. The vehicle then experienced loss of propulsion and stalled while driving, creating a serious safety risk. Because of this incident, the vehicle was towed through Jeep roadside assistance and is now at schumacher Jeep in [xxx] for diagnosis. The vehicle is currently not safely operable. Recall 78c also remains open with no available remedy. This complaint is being submitted as a new safety incident following completion of the recall 68c repair, and it should be reviewed together with my prior odi complaints, including odi xxxand odi xxx. I can provide supporting documentation, including recall records, repair records, tow documentation, and dealer information. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

5 Power Train problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 03/19/2026

After a recent recall (68c) for my 4xe the driving characteristics of my vehicle have totally changed. Accelerationis delayed and jerky with the engine cutting in and out very unpredictavely now. Electric range has also gone down in a real world scenario. Jeep has not clarified or explained that the recall did to the driving dynamics of the vehicle after the recall.

6 Power Train problem of the 2025 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 03/12/2026

Component/system failure: the hybrid/electric propulsion system intermittently loses power while driving. Electric output is progressively reduced to approximately 50%, then 25%, and then fully disabled, even when sufficient battery charge remains. The condition appears to involve the hybrid control/electric drive system. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. What happened / safety risk: the loss of electric propulsion occurs unpredictably during normal operation, including both highway and city driving. The reduction in available power and sudden loss of electric functionality creates a potential safety concern, particularly when driving in traffic or at higher speeds, where reduced or inconsistent propulsion may impact the ability to maintain speed or respond to driving conditions. Additionally, the vehicle is subject to a high-voltage battery recall involving fire risk, which raises concern regarding safe operation and storage of the vehicle. Reproduction / dealer confirmation: the issue has been reproduced and confirmed by the dealership (johnson auto plaza, brighton, CO). The dealership also confirmed that the same issue was reproduced on another Jeep Wrangler 4xe vehicle on their lot. Inspection by manufacturer / others: the vehicle has been inspected by the dealership and escalated to Jeep engineering. The manufacturer has been unable to diagnose the issue due to the absence of diagnostic codes and has not identified a repair. Warning lamps / messages / symptoms: no consistent warning lamps or diagnostic codes are present when the failure occurs. The loss of electric functionality happens without a predictable pattern and without clear diagnostic indicators. Additional notes: the issue occurs unpredictably under all normal driving conditions, including: highway driving at speed city driving at low speed various battery charge levels (low and high) the dealership has suggested possible driver-related causes; unsupported by car behavior.

11 Power Train problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 02/04/2026

I am writing to report an additional safety?related incident involving my 2024 Jeep Wrangler rubicon 4xe. This vehicle previously experienced propulsion issues that I reported under NHTSA case number 11692887. On the morning of February 4, 2026, while driving to work on a busy interstate (approximately 12 miles from home), the vehicle again began exhibiting propulsion instability. The vehicle experienced repeated surging and thrusting movements that became progressively more severe during the drive. During these events, the check?engine light intermittently illuminated and then turned off. This incident occurred exactly seven days after my vehicle was evaluated by sam leman Dodge on January 27, 2026, for three open safety recalls. At that visit, I was provided paperwork indicating that the issues had been addressed. However, as of today, the official Jeep/mopar recall website still shows multiple serious and active safety recalls for my VIN, including recalls involving fire risk and sudden loss of motive power. After the February 4 incident, I contacted the dealership, and their service department advised me not to drive the vehicle and recommended that it be towed to the dealership for evaluation. I followed this guidance due to the severity of the propulsion behavior and the safety concerns involved. Given the recurrence of propulsion instability, the worsening severity of the surging behavior, the dealer’s recommendation not to drive the vehicle, and the presence of multiple unresolved safety recalls, I am requesting NHTSA’s assistance in ensuring that the manufacturer addresses these issues and restores the vehicle to a safe operating condition. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Recognize that this is the second time I have emailed the NHTSA regarding propulsion issues with this vehicle (earlier case number 11692887). Please help me build a relationship with Jeep to ensure this vehicle is restored to a safe condition.

12 Power Train problem of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/31/2026

My 2021 Jeep Wrangler rubicon (3. 6l etorque, automatic transmission) has experienced recurring drivetrain instability beginning at approximately 2,000 miles while under factory warranty. The vehicle intermittently exhibits a high-rpm flare during acceleration, where the engine speed increases without a commensurate increase in vehicle acceleration. The transmission then abruptly engages, causing sudden jerking. At low speeds (approximately 10–5 mph), the vehicle shudders and harshly downshifts, creating a sudden grabbing sensation. Engine rpms fluctuate during deceleration as if the transmission cannot smoothly match engine speed. Braking feels inconsistent, and at times it feels as though the vehicle is accelerating or resisting braking input before abruptly slowing. The vehicle has felt as though it would stall at low speeds and has stalled intermittently. Additionally, the forward collision warning / automatic emergency braking system has activated without an obstacle present. There have also been intermittent instances of loss of power steering assist. The engine has developed a ticking noise and a high-pitched ringing/whining sound from the engine area during operation. In January 2026, the transmission catastrophically failed and required replacement of the transmission, torque converter, cooler, and control module. The vehicle was out of service for over 24 days. Following installation of a mopar remanufactured transmission and torque converter, the same symptoms have recurred, including rpm flare, delayed shifting, shuddering, harsh downshifts, unstable deceleration, and abnormal engine noises. These conditions present a safety concern due to loss of expected acceleration, unpredictable torque engagement, unintended braking activation, intermittent power steering loss, stalling behavior, and drivetrain instability. The vehicle is currently under further diagnostic evaluation. I have multiple documents, but the file is too large to upload.

13 Power Train problem of the 2017 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/30/2026

I bought my 2017 Jeep with 29,000 miles on it. I had an issue with the rear driverside brake locking up around 40,000 miles. I feel this is a safety issue due to how hot the brakes got and at times would be smoking. It being the weekend and my only vehicle, repaired myself for approximately $280. I have had to replace several coil packs around $50,000 miles. My main complaint today, at 66,000 miles it seems to be leaking oil. I took to mechanic this morning and was told this is a common problem with Jeeps. The oil cooler housing is cracked and leaking. This part is made out of plastic. The repair for this is going to cost $1200 to $1500. I have read complaints regarding this issue and do not understand why this hasn't been recalled. This is a major safety concern and could possibly cause a fire. I have owned Jeeps my whole life and as of today, I will never purchase another. The Jeep brand has declined in reliability and has proved to be a huge financial mistake.

14 Power Train problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/29/2026

The hybrid system in my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe repeatedly fails, causing the vehicle to lose propulsion, drop out of electric mode, hesitate, and shut off while driving. These failures have occurred in traffic and at highway speeds. The vehicle has experienced multiple safety?related power?loss events, including on jr allen parkway and I?185, where the hybrid system failed to transition between electric and gas modes and the vehicle began losing power. Beginning in April 2025, the vehicle generated repeated Jeep connect alerts stating “electric charging failed for your vehicle. ” these alerts occurred dozens of times over many months, indicating an early hybrid?system malfunction. The issue is not related to home charging equipment, as the alerts come from the vehicle’s telematics system and the hybrid system later failed while driving. On February 5, 2026, the dealership’s service director informed us that the defect was identified, no fix exists, and the vehicle is unsafe to drive. Fca has not provided a remedy. The vehicle cannot be safely operated in electric mode due to hybrid?system failure, and it cannot be safely operated in gas mode due to engine?related safety concerns. The vehicle is unsafe in all modes of operation. This defect creates a serious risk of collision due to sudden loss of propulsion, inability to accelerate, and unexpected shutdowns while driving.

15 Power Train problem of the 2023 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/29/2026

The hybrid propulsion system in my 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe intermittently malfunctions while driving. The “d” (drive) indicator on the gear selector begins flashing, and the engine rpms suddenly decrease without warning. During these events, the vehicle loses propulsion power and responsiveness. After several seconds, the vehicle may return to normal operation. This failure affects the hybrid powertrain and transmission system. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. This condition creates a serious safety risk because the sudden loss of propulsion reduces the vehicle’s ability to accelerate or maintain speed in traffic. This is especially dangerous when merging, crossing intersections, or driving at highway speeds, as it increases the risk of collision due to loss of power and reduced vehicle control. The vehicle has been evaluated by a Jeep dealership service department. The dealership has not provided a permanent repair, and the manufacturer recall affecting the hybrid system remains open and unresolved. The recall repair has not been performed, and the hybrid malfunction continues to occur. The vehicle has been inspected by dealership personnel, but the issue remains unresolved. The dealership indicated that replacing the 12-volt battery may help, but no definitive root cause has been identified, and the hybrid system malfunction continues. There were no battery warning lights prior to or during the failure. The primary symptom is the flashing “d” indicator and sudden decrease in rpms, followed by temporary recovery. This indicates a malfunction of the hybrid propulsion system. This unresolved hybrid system failure presents an ongoing safety hazard and loss of propulsion while driving.

16 Power Train problem of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/21/2026

I just had the 68c recall done to my Jeep Wrangler 4xe recently. Before the recall, it was running fine. But now, every time I go uphill in electric only mode, the car would suddenly lose power (eg. Slowing down from 50 mph to 20 mph). Pressing the accelerator does nothing, until I fully depress it, at which point the gas engine would start and the car jerks forward. It's very dangerous with the sudden slow down and speed up for no reason.

17 Power Train problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/15/2026

After having the 68c recall software update completed on my Jeep at an authorized dealership, I now experience sluggish and decreased acceleration (even deceleration) upon pressing the accelerator more than half way (approximately). This happened twice on hills in which I needed to increase power while in electric mode. What happened was the Jeep seemed to lose power and decrease in speed while trying to go up the hill. I continued pressing the accelerator farther down and the Jeep seemed to be even more sluggish until all of a sudden the combustion engine kicked in at a very intense level and high rpm, lurching be forward, almost into the back of another vehicle. The sudden decrease in power to an even more sudden and drastic (sharp) increase felt dangerous.

18 Power Train problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/15/2026

After the 68c / NHTSA 25v-741 recall was completed, the Jeep can be difficult to drive and will dangerously lose power or accelerate unexpectedly. When driving in electric mode it will suddenly lose power and often start the engine abruptly. I've nearly been rear ended when it lost power, but also almost crashed into the car in front of me when the engine started abruptly and gave full power unexpectedly. This is a new characteristic since the recall was completed. I spoke with the dealer assistant service manager, and he said that unless the vehicle is displaying an error or warning, that it is operating as stellantis has written the software for the recall. I spoke with stellantis and told them of the severe safety issue, and that I feel unsafe driving it. Since I've been told this defect is normal, I asked for a refund/return. They said "sorry" and can't help me and referred me to arbitration. This is a defective vehicle that has been rendered even further defective. Stellantis refuses to take any responsibility.

20 Power Train problem of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/08/2026

Vehicle equipped with a 3. 6l pentastar v6 engine developed loud ticking noises, engine misfires, and loss of power while driving. The vehicle hesitated during acceleration and could not reliably maintain speed, creating a safety risk in traffic. An authorized dealership pulled diagnostic trouble codes, acknowledged the abnormal ticking, and advised the failure was likely related to the camshaft, lifters, and rocker arms. The vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic for further inspection. The independent mechanic confirmed failure of the valve train and camshaft components, requiring replacement of the passenger side intake camshaft (bank 2), cam phaser, phaser bolt, and all lifters and rocker arms. Photos of the failed components are available. The defect was confirmed by both a dealership and an independent repair facility. Issue presents risk of sudden loss of power while the vehicle is in motion.

21 Power Train problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/04/2026

I was driving my car when it powered down and had an unrecoverable loss of propulsion. It's a miracle I didn't crash and kill myself or anyone else on the road. This aligns with NHTSA recall number 25v-766. Jeep dealer identified the issue is failed transfer case assembly, then had to replace transfer case motor, then updated the software for the electric battery, but that software update is an ineffective remedy for the recall. I'm afraid to drive car because it might spontaneously catch fire or power down while driving again, which is terrifying because you lose all steering control. My car has been at the Jeep dealer in lynnfield, massachusetts since January 7, 2026. The Jeep dealer said they couldn't buy my Jeep from me because they can't certify it's safety due to open recall. I can't park car in my parking garage or anywhere in boston per recall notice. Bought Jeep Wrangler rubicon x 4xe brand new 1/20/24 for $76,500 and have $25,000 of equity/payments in it, but it has a note of $52,500 outstanding and due to recall issues the car is only worth maybe $32,500 but should be worth at least $60,000. I want manufacturer to buy my car back from me because it's under warranty and they can't fix the battery in a way that makes it safe to drive or even park near anything.

22 Power Train problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/02/2026

After a bad ota update in October, in November before the stop charge recall was issued I noticed on Nov 21, when in "electric" mode, after 10 or so minutes of driving the vehicle loses the ability to accelerate past half application of the accelerator. This lack of power continues until the accelerator is fully pushed on the floor forcing the gas engine on and causing immediate and dangerous acceleration. After this incident on the 11/21, I didn't charge again until I had the 68c recall performed where the dealer told me they think it's fixed. On my way home from the dealer it happened again. From here I emailed the dealer over the holiday and sent them videos of the problem. I opened a case with Jeep and brought it in. I was then told they replicated my issue but that it's normal now since all the updates. They refused to go for a quick ride along and closed my Jeep case with no resolution or help. This problem that did not exist before the ota update. I don't know if it's related to the ota update or related to the a7c recall, wither way I don't feel safe driving this with any amount of charge in it, even though the dealer gave an ok to charge. The dealer wants nothing to do with addressing this because I think they can't fix it since there is no cel or codes in the computer. I don't know what to do from here. You will find attached the email chain and see youtube addresses. I can share these directly if needed or produce much better ones. This is completely repeatable and consistent.

23 Power Train problem of the 2015 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/01/2026

The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while starting the vehicle, the abs, traction control, and parking brake warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated the brake pedal seized, and the transmission was shifting roughly. The vehicle was driven to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed with abs module failure. The dealer was notified of the failure; however, the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 80,000.

24 Power Train problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 12/31/2025

I am reporting an unresolved safety recall on my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe (recall 78c). This recall involves manufacturing debris left in the engine, which can cause sudden loss of power while driving and, in some cases, engine fires. There is currently no fix available for this recall. Despite the known safety risk, stellantis is instructing owners to continue driving the vehicle. I have told the manufacturer that I do not feel safe operating a vehicle under an active safety recall with no remedy, but I was told there is nothing they can do. This vehicle is leased, and while a separate battery recall (68c) was addressed with rental reimbursement, stellantis is refusing to provide any interim accommodation for recall 78c, even though it remains open and unresolved. Being told to continue driving a vehicle with a known risk of sudden power loss or fire, with no repair available, presents a serious safety concern for drivers and the public. I am concerned about the risk of an accident or fire occurring before a fix is available.

25 Power Train problem of the 2016 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 12/23/2025

Unsafe vehicle, unresolved mechanical failures – serious safety concern on [xxx], I purchased a Jeep (VIN: [xxx] ) from whipple auto sales. Since the purchase, the vehicle has experienced repeated mechanical failures that have created serious safety concerns. Approximately two weeks after purchase, the dealership replaced a fuel injector due to performance issues. About one month later, the vehicle began showing sensor codes and experienced sudden power loss while driving. On [xxx] the vehicle completely shut off while I was traveling on the highway, placing my safety at significant risk. The dealership initially stated that the key required reprogramming. However, after keeping the vehicle for approximately one month, they were still unable to repair the issue. The dealership later claimed the problem was related to the powertrain. Without resolving the issue or providing proper notice, they returned the vehicle to my residence in worse condition than when it was left with them. At this time, the vehicle is unsafe and unreliable, and I cannot confidently operate it. This situation demonstrates a lack of proper repair, accountability, and resolution. I am extremely concerned about the safety and reliability of this vehicle and the dealership’s handling of this matter. I am seeking a proper resolution to this issue. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

26 Power Train problem of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 12/16/2025

Basically stated, death wobble, after looking up symptoms. At 65 mph on the highway, hit a bump and the entire Jeep shook uncontrollably. I just purchased it used not 10 minutes prior to the incident. The dealership failed to mention this and sold it as-is.

27 Power Train problem of the 2025 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 12/15/2025

Subject: safety complaint – 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe unexpectedly shifted into park while in traffic vehicle: 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe mileage at time of incident: 1300 date of incident: 13 Dec 2025 location: ohio I am submitting this complaint to formally report a serious and dangerous safety defect involving my 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe. While approaching a red traffic light at normal driving speed, the vehicle suddenly and without any warning shifted itself into park. I did not press the park button, and no alerts or warnings were displayed prior to the event. The vehicle abruptly decelerated, leaving me momentarily without power in active traffic. I had to quickly react, restart, and shift back into gear. This incident was completely unexpected, and placed me and others at immediate risk of a rear-end collision. This behavior is unacceptable in a modern vehicle and represents a clear safety hazard, particularly in traffic conditions where sudden loss of propulsion can result in serious injury or death. There were no dashboard warnings, messages, or indications that the vehicle was about to enter park. The vehicle was functioning normally immediately before the incident. I am requesting: 1. A full investigation into this incident 2. Written documentation of any known defects, recalls, or software issues related to unintended gear shifts in the Wrangler 4xe 3. A permanent fix, not a temporary reset or software update without explanation 4. Documentation placed in my vehicle service record acknowledging this safety issue I am also submitting this complaint to the national highway traffic safety administration (NHTSA) due to the severity of the safety risk. This incident has caused me to lose confidence in the safety and reliability of this vehicle, and I expect this matter to be treated with urgency. The vehicle is currently in the shop for the past 4 days with no call explaining what the problem is.

28 Power Train problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 12/13/2025

This is a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe. It currently has 22,700 miles on it. These issues began prior to 20,000 miles. The car stops driving with out warning. This has occurred on three occasions, while driving in traffic. It locks up, but power is still working. A message pops up that says put the vehicle in drive. . . Which it already is. It comes to an abrupt stop. It will not regain power. You have to power on and off multiple times to get it to start. Recently it failed to start (engine). Again, had full power, but the engine would not start. It also will not charge fully to 100%. The display screen will bling or go black, with no power. The steering wheel will shake uncontrollably while driving over 65-70 mph. These issues began in summer 2025. One incident was in sept. Oct, Nov, and Dec 13 was the last.

29 Power Train problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 12/08/2025

My vehicle is affected by multiple safety recalls related to the high-voltage battery / charging system. The recall instructions include safety restrictions such as not parking near structures/buildings and limiting/avoiding charging (or following specific charging precautions) due to a potential safety hazard (including fire risk). Despite these warnings, there is no available remedy/repair at this time, and an authorized dealer has confirmed the recalls apply but cannot complete the recall repairs. Separately (and repeatedly), while driving the vehicle has displayed a “stop safely / pull over” warning message multiple times. Each time this occurs I must pull over immediately due to concern for a sudden loss of propulsion or unsafe operation in traffic. This creates a significant safety risk to me and others because it can occur unexpectedly and could lead to a crash, loss of power, or being stranded in an unsafe location. The condition has been reproduced multiple times. The vehicle is available for inspection. The exact root cause is unknown at this time, and I have not received a permanent fix.

30 Power Train problem of the 2022 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 12/01/2025

Our vehicle has been. Undriveable since recall 68c/25v-741 and has been at the Jeep dealer (friendship Jeep Chrysler in forest city nc) since 1/5/2026 with no guidance as to when to expect a fix and return to us. Between car payments, insurance payments, and accelerated depreciation we have lost thousands of dollars and we are not able to use the vehicle.

31 Power Train problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 11/28/2025

I own a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe that I purchased in September of 2024 from charlie's Jeep in augusta as a used car with just under 5,000 miles. Now it has about 11,888 miles and has been un-driveable since December 1 due to unresolved safety recalls. The car is a certified used Jeep and is under warranty and has two current major safety recalls, one of which does not have a solution and a fix. The first recall is for a faulty hybrid battery that can catch on fire, and the second recall is for residual sand left in the engine, which can cause a sudden loss of propulsion and/or fire. This sand can migrate to other parts of the car, so an engine replacement would not be a complete fix. Currently, the car has a "do not drive" recommendation from Jeep and as a result, it has been sitting at the dealer since December 1, 2025. Because of the recalls, the value and safety of the car is very much depreciated. I have tried to work with Jeep and the dealer on a reasonable solution to no avail.

32 Power Train problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 11/21/2025

The vehicle experienced a loss of motive power while stopped at a traffic light and would not accelerate when the accelerator was pressed. The failure appears related to the powertrain/electrical system. The vehicle was unable to move and required a restart to regain propulsion. The vehicle remains available for inspection upon request. This failure placed my safety and the safety of other road users at risk due to the inability to proceed through an intersection as expected, creating a risk of collision. The problem has not been reproduced on demand, but it has occurred at least once and is consistent with an active safety recall (a7c) related to loss of motive power. The issue has been discussed with the manufacturer and a dealer, both of whom confirmed that no repair or interim remedy is currently available. The vehicle has not been physically inspected by the manufacturer due to the lack of an available repair. No warning lamps or messages were present prior to the failure, and the loss of propulsion occurred without warning.

33 Power Train problem of the 2022 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 11/19/2025

My Jeep Wrangler 4xe displayed a ‘service charging system’ warning immediately after unplugging from charging. I began to drive and noticed the warning right away. I then parked and attempted to restart the vehicle, but it would not start and became completely inoperable. The vehicle had to be towed. The dealer confirmed this issue is related to the current hybrid safety recall, but stellantis has stated that no repair is available, and it may not be available until the end of the year or the first quarter of next year. The vehicle is undrivable, and I cannot safely use or move it. Stellantis is only offering reimbursement for a rental, which I cannot access because I cannot afford to pay for a rental vehicle upfront. Reimbursement for what could be an unlimited or months-long period of rental fees is not a reasonable or accessible remedy. This leaves me without any safe or practical transportation option. I have now been without transportation for over 48 hours, and the manufacturer is not providing a reasonable remedy or safe transportation while the recall repair remains unavailable. I am filing this complaint so NHTSA can document the delay, the lack of an accessible remedy, and the manufacturer’s failure to provide a safe, timely solution for an undrivable recall-affected vehicle. 34 Power Train problem of the 2025 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 11/18/2025

I was driving on a very busy road and the vehicle lost power. I consider that my life was in danger because of me the traffic piled up and other drivers were furious with me. No matter what I tried, the car simply would not stop. Aaa came and was unable to make the car start. It was towed to a dealership. Prior to this I already had two service visits related to the start stop warning light coming on in my dashboard. The first time, the service department claimed that they could not figure out what caused it, but they replaced the auxiliary battery that powers the start stop feature. Basically one day later, the start stop warning light came on again. I had to take it back to the dealership and they kept the vehicle for two days and I don't think anything was done. After the vehicle was returned to me, within days the warning light came on and then would go off and come back on sporadically. On the date of the complete power loss, the warning light came on in my dashboard about one hour before the power loss. So far, Jeep has said that they won't even be able to look at my vehicle for a week and it will probably take at least two weeks because they are short-staffed. I think I have a lemon.
