Vehicle repeatedly jumps out of first gear from a dead stop. Transmission violently shakes the vehicle and jumps the vehicle into neutral leaving the driver with no power in the middle of an intersection. Trailing vehicles are forced to slam on brakes, or swerve to avoid my vehicle with no forward momentum.

Backing out of parking spaces and turning a corner at very low speeds, caused the esp and bas dash lights to come on and stay on. All the dash lights have come on at speeds of 5 mph while driving in a parking lot, vehicle acted like it was going to stall, but did not turn off. Took the Jeep in for service, dtc's were scanned dtc stored codes were found, c2205 steering angle sensor internal, c121a, steering angle sensor not initialized. New Jeep Wrangler with 6-speed manual transmission grinds when operator upshifts from 1st to 2nd gears, necessitating an unusually slow shift and consequent poor low-speed acceleration from a stop. Condition is worse when vehicle is cold and intermittent when warm. Took vehicle to dealership for warranty repairs. Jeep representatives state condition is "normal" for this vehicle. No repair performed.

Manual transmission had been grinding and popping out of reverse since purchase in January 2005. Recently transmission was popping out of forward drive gears and failing to engage. Dealer inspected and found the transmission not going into reverse, popping out of 3rd, grinding in 5th and generally very noisy. Reverse shaft and gear, counter shaft and synchronizers all severely worn out. Metal chunks were found throughout transmission. Transmission had less than 15,000 miles. Complete transmission replacement was required.

Six speed manual transmission grinds going into reverse/ pops out of reverse. Dealership provided technical bulletin stating this condition will lead to an eventual loss of forward drive gears if not corrected. However, problem was unable to be duplicated on several occasions and subsequently was not repaired.
Transmission sticks and grinds when shifting into 2nd gear; dealer changed transmission fluid, but still sticks and grinds; shifting into 3rd, 4th, and 5th gears it seems like synchronizers aren't working properly. This vehicle was a used vehicle which I recently purchased and was told that this is a common complaint and it seems like dealer doesn't want to do anything about it.

Transmission grinds when shifting into second gear most of the time. . . Grinding is most noticable after the transmission has been driven for at least 15 minutes. The warmer the transmision gets the worse the shifting gets. I have had it pop out of gear twice when starting from a stop. The shifting is notchy in all of the gears especially 2nd gear. There is also a rattle while in neutral and it will not go into 1st at times, you must put it back in neutral and re engage the clutch for it to go into gear.
Transmission has a grinding noise when shifting into 2nd and 3rd gears. When the transmission gets hot it's hard to shift out of and into gears. The clutch is very noisy when is engaged and disengaged.
