Steering Failed Problems of Kia Motor Sedona

My 2004 kia Sedona steering column disintegrated causing steering failure. It had to be completely replaced at my cost.

I have a 2004 kia Sedona. I am the only owner. I started having steering problems about 5 days ago. I almost ran into another car turning the corner. I took it into my kia dealer to be told my steering binding has failed. So now I have to pay over $500 to have it repaired, since this is a safety hazard. I believe this to be a defect on my kia. I would like for them to take care of it and reimburse me for my costs.

There was no events leading up to the failure, I was pull on to the road and lost complete control of my steering, my steering wheel just kept going around and around, complete steering failure. I have not done anything yet to fix. . .

2002 kia Sedona with steering failure. Consumer states that mechanic told her that a bolt fell out and could not be replaced unless the entire steering shaft was replaced. Consumer states that wasn't the first time the steering has had problems. The consumer stated during the first year of owning the vehicle, the transmission failed ,the drivers seat motor had to be replaced several times and the fuse that controlled the dashboard lights malfunctioned on a continuous basis.
