1 Steering Wheel Vibrate problem of the 2019 Kia Motor Sedona

Failure Date: 12/04/2019

Bought a brand new car at 20 miles on odometer. While driving home steering wheel was shaking badly. I was surprised to feel this since it is a brand new car. I went to service next day they could not find anything wrong with tires or suspension and was told this is how this car design to drive. I was told that if there is know visible issue with the tires kia would not replace it under warranty. Now I'm stuck with this brand new car that drives like 10 years old car.

3 Steering Wheel Vibrate problem of the 2006 Kia Motor Sedona

Failure Date: 09/29/2013

As my wife was making a right-hand turn into a parking lot at approximately 5-10 mph, the van lurched left and shook violently. After checking for flat tires and finding none, she attempted to continue driving but the steering wheel was shaking to much to drive any further. After having the van towed to the service center and checked out, we were told that the left front control arm had rusted through and failed. I cringe at the thought of what could have happened at highway speed, as we were supposed to has been on the interstate at that time, but changed our plans at the last minute. This van had its annual nh state safety inspection at the beginning of August and was given a clean bill of health. The shop that did the inspection and the shop that is doing the repair both told us that unless they actually see a crack, there is no way for them to tell if the part is compromised or not. As someone who has been working with metal for 30 years, I find this hard to believe. Lastly, I have noted six complaints reported here for the same problem in just the last seven months. It is my opinion that it is time for a thorough investigation and recall before there is a serious or (heaven forbid) fatal accident resulting from a control arm failure.

4 Steering Wheel Vibrate problem of the 2006 Kia Motor Sedona

Failure Date: 11/18/2009

Headlamps blowing out we have had to replace the headlamps about every 4-6 weeks and have taken it to the dealer 4 times on the head light problem and they say there is nothing wrong. So why do they keep blowing out. We have had both low beams blow out at the same time and have had to drive with the high beams which is unsafe to on coming traffic let along unsafe for us not to have any low beams. The second problem is a steering wheel vibration that we have has been a problem since we purchased the van. The dealer had it for the 1st month we owned it and still have the problem to this day and we are really feeling unsafe driving it due to the vibration at highway speeds. My wife is terrified to even take it on the highway with our three precious children. So if I could get some feedback on these issues I would greatly appreciate it. After doing some internet research there are alot of the same problems other people are having. I am writing this complaint so someone does not have to die due to headlights blowing out, or the steering falls apart or a part fails due to the vibration.

5 Steering Wheel Vibrate problem of the 2006 Kia Motor Sedona

The contact owns a 2006 kia Sedona. While driving 60 mph or greater, the steering wheel began to shake. The dealer inspected the vehicle on three occasions and they changed the rotors, rotated the tires, and replaced the front wheels. However, the failure persists. The transmission type was unknown. The failure mileage was 3,000 and current mileage was 7,345.

6 Steering Wheel Vibrate problem of the 2004 Kia Motor Sedona

Failure Date: 12/26/2004

They were minor at first, speaker cover, weather stripping, and noise when backing up. Then the other problems came: faulty pilot bearing, clutch, and pressure plate, 4wd light, e brake, power windows, paint coming of vehicle in various places, dome lamp, door lock sensor, gear shifter, windshield molding, air bag light, gas pedal sticking, cup holder. The ones that concern me the most is the vibration that I have at speeds of 65-75 mph. The whole steering wheel shakes and the vibration can be felt below. I have seen where there are other complaints on this model for this. I am concerned because I have taken it to the dealer and they cannot locate the problem. I also have problems shifting into lower gears especially in the mornings. I also have problems shifting into 1st gear from neutral. I was sitting at a stop light and when the light turned green went to put my car into first, it would not go, I shifted into 2nd and tried to go into 1st but it would not go. I finally cut the vehicle off and got it into 1st. The other main concern is there is a delay on acceleration. I experience it after my vehicle has sat for 5 or more hours. When the gas pedal is pushed the vehicle will not go or will move several feet and then stop. I have made the dealership aware of these problems and some have been fixed but the major ones, vibration, hesitation, and shifting into 1st cannot be fixed because the cause is unknown. I have already had two close calls in this vehicle one because I could not get my car into gear and I was about hit from behind. The other was the hesitation where the car stalled just as I was pulling onto the road and would not go. The vibration concerns me too because this could be the transmission or steering, and I know that much of a vibration has to affect other things as well. I am going to contact someone about trying to declare this vehicle as a lemon. I am concerned for my daughter's safety and this is my only source of transportation. Please help me.
