Steering Noise Problems of Kia Motor Sedona

The contact owns a 2006 kia Sedona. While driving 25 mph, the lower control arm on the front passenger side failed. The contact heard an abnormal noise and the steering wheel could not be steered. The contact also noticed that the esc warning light illuminated. The contact pulled the vehicle over and had it towed to a dealer. The vehicle was diagnosed that the lower control arm needed to be replaced. The repairs were not performed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 127,000.

Steering noise and higher than normal steering resistance reference bulletin TSB-019 this is ridiculous that there hasn't been a recall! are we just waiting for a wreck that actually kills some one? we were turning onto the highway and the steering wheel locked and had to be turned back to straight or else it would have just kept turning us into oncoming traffic.

The dealer was called and informed him that the warranty expired and he had to pay for the repairs. The manufacturer was called and confirmed that the warranty expired. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 55,000.

About a year ago my steering on my 04 kia Sedona was getting tight and hard to turn, now there is a clicking noise when turning the steering wheel my friend has an 03 Sedona and hers did the same thing is this a recall?.
