Brake Disc Rotor Problems of Kia Motor Sephia - part 2

I have had the brake rotors replaced 3 times due to warpage, this causes vibration.

When the brakes are applied rotors do not feel right. Took vehicle to dealer & mechanic indicated the rotors were warped & needed replacing. Vehicle's been to dealer at least 4 times for same problem with brake rotors, and each time they were replaced.

Every 5000 miles needs brakes/ rotors, consumer feels rotors are warping fast, and this is a manufacturer's defect.

When consumer's vehicle crashed into the passenger's side of another vehicle, there was no deployment of the driver's side or passenger's side air bags. Vehicle was traveling about 10-15 mph when crash happened. Vehicle has been repaired. Also, brake rotors have been replaced twice , once at 3,000 miles, and again at 6,000 or 7,000 miles. However, brake rotors need to be replaced again.

Brakes pulsate badly due to faulty front brake pads and rotors. Yh.

The switch block under the seat was messed up had to be ficked so car would start. Was low on transmission fluid 3 days after buying car. Transmission went out after 6500 miles. The rotors began squelling at about 5000 miles hard to stop sometimes locks up sometimes keeps rolling. . . . . . Rotors and pads replaced and still keeps acting up.

While driving brakes are cutting into the rotors, causing the car to have extended stopping distances. Dealer has been notified and replaced the brakes ,but the problem has not been remedied. Please provide any futher information.

Brakes and rotors replaced 3 times once at 8208, 16257, and 20368 having same problem and transmission replaced with rebuilt one o\d lights flashes and check engine still having the same problem transmission went out again 1 day after they said they fixed it.

Windshield needed to be replaced due to stress cracks. Rotors were replaced two times.

There is constant warpage rotors. Also, some griniding on brakes. Contacted dealer, and dealer replaced rotors.

Rotors warped, had to be replaced at 6132 miles, 11944 miles, 23040 miles, and taking it back tomorrow for the same problem.

I have has the roters replaced on this car 4 times! the last time at 32,000 now the car is at 46,000 an the brakes have failed again!!!! pad are worn down to the steel. Roter gets scared. Same thing every time!!!! now I have to pay for this. I dont feel that they have fixed this issue and should still be coverd under the warranty. Even the warrenty on the brake pads and roters were not up yet!!!.

When applying the brakes there is rough vibration in the front end of the vehicle. This happens when braking normally. The brake rotors were replaced at 3,000 miles. Owner is experiencing the same problem again with 6,200 miles. Please provide any further information.

After I read all the other complaints about the kia I would like to give the car back to them if they would make good on the loan and get me out from under it . And make me free and clear of it. Faulty disc brake rotors. 1st incident noticed at 5,000 miles. Dealer had them turned. 2nd. Incident occurred at 28,000 miles. Dealer notified and refused to repair unless cost goes to consumer.

The front brakes are wearing excessively, every 3 weeks or so. Had turned rotors. Were not releasing until worn & then released. Had entire front brake system replaced at dealership. Had ongoing brake problem at least 5 different times.
