Engine Stall Problems of Kia Motor Sephia

My wife was driving our 1998 kia Sephia and the engine began to stall. She pulled into a parking lot and the engine caught on fire. My wife ran away form the vehicle. The whole front of the car was burned up.

Nhtsa campaign 99v317000; kia issued an engine stalling recall. This vehicle was included in the recall, but the problem is still occurring even after repair. The fuel pump will not receive enough current to maintain the vehicle on.

While driving about any mph when engine check light and overdrive light will come on. This situation had been a problem for consumer sixth times. When lights come on engine will stall. Dealer could not find out what is causing it.

While at a stop sign and attempting to make a turn vehicle died. Took vehicle to dealer, and they could not duplicate. Problem still was occurring. Recall 99 v 318 000 concerning engine stalling, but this vehicle was not included due to VIN. Engine check light stayed on, and after refueling it will not start. Please provide any further information.

Received recall 99v318000. Contacted dealer for appointment. Took to dealer on the appointed day. Informed by service manager no parts were available for engine stalling. Claimed parts would be available in 1 1/2 months.

Recalls 99v271 000/windshield wiper linkage and 99v318 000/engine stalling. Both recall notices were received by consumer, and was unable to get dealer to honor recalls. Was informed by dealer that they were placed on a waiting list, and will be contacted when their names come up. Contacted dealer on several other occasions, and now they misplaced the list. Seeking help from NHTSA in this matter.

Engine stalls, especially when starting up vehicle in the mornings. Gas gauge does not read full, and passenger's side door is broken. This will be the third repair. Replaced door panel. Door hinges were broken.

Engine stalls each time the clutch is engaged and has left the driver stranded on several occasions. Problem is worse when the engine is warm.

Fuel injection wiring harness, idle set too low, could no fix it the last time, engine stalls.
