This 2011 kia Sorento lx is a v6, key start with 13,000 miles purchased new in December 2010. The problem started as a clicking noise occurring between reverse and drive. Then the clicking became more noticeable when I pushed on the brake. It did not happen every time but enough to be annoying and causing concern of what the noise meant. I took it into the dealership where they asked me to show them the problem. The noise was especially loud between neutral and drive. They replaced a defective shifter. This fixed the clicking.
