Failure Date: 06/30/2022

The contact owns a 2014 kia Soul. The contact while driving at 35 mph when he heard odd sound coming from the vehicle, when the contact arrived at him home the vehicle shut down and would not shut back up. The battery was replaced but the failure reoccurred again. The vehicle was not diagnosed. The dealer or the manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 126,000.

3 12v/24v/48v Battery problem of the 2014 Kia Motor Soul

Failure Date: 09/01/2017

The contact owns a 2014 kia Soul. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the check engine light, oil light, and battery light remained illuminated and blink off and on. Also, a knocking and ticking sound was coming from the engine compartment along with a burning oil odor. Additionally, the vehicle would not exceed speeds over 60 mph. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The vehicle was later taken to the local service center who determined that the catalytic converter was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired.
