My passenger seat stopped sensing someone sitting in the seat and wouldn't turn on. Then, a couple days later the airbag light came on flashing. I was not in any kind of accident whatsoever nor was there a reason for this to happen. Medford Nissan told me they would not repair it that I had to pay 120. 00 just for them to detect what was wrong. Then they wanted me to pay to fix it. I did nothing that would cause this to happen. I have 2007 Pathfinder the air bag lights stays on wont go off the gas tank never goes to fuel it stay on empty, and when going down the road the road the car dies and the tires senserwont go off tried put air in the tires still wont go off,I can handle the tired sensor not going off but when the car air bag lights not working and the gas tank not work and the thing keeps try to die on me drive down the road am needed help, it try to die in town run down the highway when you slow down to make a turn it dies and thought I was out of gas but when you fill the gas tank where it wont take no more gas you no something not right when it still wants to die this 2007 Pathfinder as been like this since I bought this car it did not start die up intill about 7 months ago,.

The airbag light is flashing. We line in nm so we're not part of the recall but we drive frequently on snowy salty mountain roads so we might be affected by the same issue.

Couple of things, first the front passenger air bag is set to off when there is an adult sitting there, and I have a blinking airbag light, at all times no matter what. Second, there is a loud noise coming from the engine when I turn my heater on. I can also feel the vibration when I'm still. The SUV only has about 44k miles. I see this is a common issue that has not been addressed. I'm definitely disappointed.

My airbag light has been flashing. I took it to the dealer and I was told that my airbag modular failed due to corrosion and that there's only 1 left in the whole united states. They are trying to charge me $1,500. 00 to fix this problem, when it was recalled previously by Nissan. I live in maryland and was never aware of this recall and Nissan shows no recalls ever made on my vehicle.

Passenger airbag light went on last night while driving about 35mph engine shut off completely, no power no lights. It had shut off on me about 1 week ago immediately after starting.

Passenger airbag light stays on even when a passenger is in the seat. Been repaired multiple times and continues to happen. Remains on at stand still and moving.

On 7/19/19, my car was serviced for broken passenger airbag sensor due to technician finding water bottle underneath the passenger side seat. Paid $638 for the replacement. Lesson learned, no water bottles allowed in car. Less than 2 months later, on 9/12/19, the passenger side airbag lights go on again!! brought car to service on 9/19 and technician finds clip to sensor snapped. No water bottle, no known reason why the sensor is broken. Had to pay another $189 to replace it again!! I'm tire of this pattern if you just sit in the passenger seat, or breathe there, the sensor will break!! Nissan has done a horrible job at designing a protective area around the airbag sensor!! I contacted consumer services at Nissan and they just told me they will review the case and it is not their fault after my car is no longer under warranty. I am furious and even more concerned that there will be more sensor failures and airbag malfunctions in the near future!! I feel Nissan's poor quality is disrupting my family life and my work. I can't keep going back to get this service repeatedly!! there should be an investigation & recall for this issue ASAP!!.

The airbag system is not functioning properly. The srs light is flashing on the dash. The air bag light will not detect a passenger weighing over 150 lbs. The problem was addressed with a recall. In may of 2018, the problem was temporarily fixed by replacing the acu diag unit, the air bag press detection module assembly, the occupant sensor, and the air bag pressure detection sensor. The problem is occurring again just over a year later. This problems occurs in all driving conditions at all times. The flashing light suppresses the air bag system meaning an air bag will not work as it should during an accident. This leaves my family and I at risk of injury or death if an accident was to occur. The reoccurrence of the problem took place on August 13, 2009. The original problem was addressed on may, 9, 2018.

May14,2019 my horn stopped working and my air bag light is flashing. Noticed my air bag came on when I started it up on may 14, 2019 also that day I had a car pull out in front me and noticed the horn does not work either. After googling the problem I was informed Nissan had a recall but dealers were not fixing the problem and charging customers to fix it at their cost.

The vehicle was taken to tri-cities Nissan (3602 bristol hwy, johnson city, TN 37601, (423) 401-2360), but was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact refused to pay the diagnostic fees. The manufacturer was contacted by the dealer who stated that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 08v690000 (air bags). The failure mileage was 130,000.

Airbag lights started blinking , when calling the dealership my Nissan Pathfinder was not included in the recall. No accident on the car and the car was purchase new August 2016 .

The vehicle was taken to continental Nissan (located at 5750 south la grange road, countryside, IL 60525, (708) 613-8210) where it was diagnosed that the air bags needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 97,600.

Airbag - my airbag light is on. I saw that there is a recall. However, the Nissan dealer says there is no recall. Seatbelts - I have to insert into the fastener several times before clicking in place. Other is my main horn. Does not work and has not worked for over a year.

Upon starting the ignition, air bag OCS indicator shows both front passenger air bags not working. Indication light remains on while vehicle is both stationary and while in motion.

I bought a brand new 2013 Nissan Pathfinder in March of 2013. Within 6 months I noticed there was jerking with the transmission. I took it back to preston Nissan in maryland and was told they had received a bulletin and the transmission needed to be reprogrammed. They reprogrammed the transmission and it helped a little but a few months later it was doing the same thing. I took it back to preston Nissan. There I was told that they could not duplicate the problem and that they would reprogram it again. It did not help. I could not afford to keep taking it back, because they charge me every time to keep telling me there was nothing wrong. My car began to not accelerate when I was making a turn or when I was accelerating in traffic. We took it back to preston and we were told that they had put a device in to monitor the transmission as well as reprogrammed it again. My car continued to judder and shake and fail to accelerate. There was a class action lawsuit filed and Nissan extended the warranties to 84,000 miles. My car is now at 87,000 and a Nissan dealership in michigan is now stating that it needs a new transmission and a cooling fan. Nissan corporate office is now telling me that they will pay 90% of the fan and only 50% of the transmission. I bought the extended warranty when I purchased the car. The transmission is not the only thing wrong with this car. It has been one thing after the other. Door lock motor, visor, hood release, trunk latch, brake lights remain on when car is off, airbag indicator. . . The list goes on and on.

Car was delivered new with front headrests installed backwards. Driver's visor was snapping loudly and drooping from new. Replaced 11/14/2014. Ocs recall, attempted repair 4/23/2014, 11/14/14, 4/7/2015, 11/19/2015, 12/8/2015 and passenger side airbag light remains on always, to this day! hood has vibrated at highway speeds since new. Recall for hood latch fixed 4/7/2015. Hood still vibrates. Passenger visor replaced 2/23/2017 for same as driver�s. Driver's inner door handle broke. Couldn't open from inside. Replaced 9/10/2018 at cost of $296. 29. Multiple exterior rubber and plastic trims are loose, coming off, and interior gasket on one rear door and tailgate.

The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no recall and nothing could be done. The contact was referred to NHTSA. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 73,000.

Our Pathfinder has been recalled twice for passenger side airbag malfunctions. Despite having been "repaired" on both occasions, the airbag light started flashing. Nissan is now informing us that the entire airbag system is defective, yet they maintain that this issue is unrelated to the prior recalls and as such, have refused to cover the cost of repair. In addition, the visors on both the driver and passenger sides have broken and are sagging, impairing vision during vehicle operation. In researching solutions, we have discovered that both issues are common complaints for drivers of our specific model Pathfinder, yet Nissan seems to be doing nothing to fix these recurrent defects.

When the car engine is on, the air bag light is on and it doesn't go off, even while driving. The owner manual states not to drive the vehicle while it's in this state. To have it checked by a Nissan dealer as soon as possible. This vehicle will have to be towed as I'm afraid to drive this vehicle in this condition.

Airbag light had come on indicating an issue, but also light and controls on the steering wheel are failing. Vehicle has never been in an accident and there is no reason for this failure. Abs brakes activate randomly without warning preventing and causing the inability to stop. Abs can not be stopped unless I stop and turn off my vehicle and start again. Very dangerous. Cant stop when I need to. During city driving on a dry surface and approaching a stop light my brakes failed several times with the abs activating and making it impossible to stop. Random and without warning. Front differential cracked for no apparent reason and didn't provide any warnings, pinion seal leak appeared less than two years. In addition vehicle was in service for evap system 11 times in the first year without resolve. Gad consumptions was horrible and below any suggested mpg. Tire sensors have never worked and failed to alert low pressure in tires. Tire pressure has been unstable no mater what tires are installed or how many sensors are put on. Stability in steering is sloppy when going over any kind of bump in the road. Unstable when driving. Speed can cause problems when driving curves. Rollovers are definitely possible without much speed when on ramps and curves. Use extreme caution.

Passenger airbag light (indicating airbag off) remains on at times when adult passenger present. Also, light often goes off when no passenger present. This is the opposite of what it should be. Car has been returned to dealer many times, but problem persists.

The vehicle was taken to (benton Nissan, 5487 academy way, bessemer, al 35022) where it was diagnosed that the air bag spiral cable needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 131,476.

Airbag light is on vehicle and Nissan says not part of years of Pathfinder recall ��. Same issue as other but a 2008 model. Nissan wants to much money to fix a Nissan issue with the airbag system says connector. Will not deploy in accident or may deploy any time?????? safety issue for public. Approx time of issue started.

My vehicle is reporting to me that the passenger side airbag is off. Even when a passenger is seated in the seat and the vehicle is driver, the airbag light stays on. It came on 3 months after purchase and the dealer states they will have to charge me to check the issue. It seems this is a major issue with this year and model Pathfinder. The light does not turn off. Ive tried resetting tricks and still no result.
