When starting to take off (going anywhere from 5-20 mph) my car shakes like it's going to stall out, the engine or transmission does not allow the car to property speedup when accelerating. I feel extremely uncomfortable and not safe. But, I don't have another vehicle to drive. I've notice other people are having this issue too, mileage on my Pathfinder is only 49,000. It's very stressful yielding on to highways and proceeding from a traffic light I was stopped at. Also, I would like to mention that I got an oil change last week. After, doing so my car smelled like burning oil after driving more than 500 miles. I took it back to them to check that everything was done properly. They told me that my oil pan is rusted out and my oil stick needs to be replaced. Because, the rubber on the top of the dip stick is wearing. He said that is very uncommon for this age of a vehicle. Please help!!.

The engine control module went out. Nissan stated it would cost 1000. 00 for the part and 500. 00 labor. I have had so much trouble with this vehicle since I bought it in 2010. I started having trouble with the gas gauge 3 months after I bought it. It was burning oil and I had to pay 380. 00 to fix that. The tire sensor has been out for 1 year. Now this about the engine control module. This is not a good car. I feel I have been screwed and now I have to pay for a car that I can't afford to have fixed.
